I think The X-Files would be one of my favourite shows of all time if all the conspiracy stuff was gone

No government conspiracies, no alien colonisation plots, just Mulder & Scully investigating weird creatures, strange goings on, and random alien encounters

#there's no winning against The Conspiracy™; it's too big #i hate CancerMan; i hate seeing M&S get so close to the truth only to be foiled by their witness being assassinated #it's frustrating and boring; and the story can never let them win completely because then their story ould be over
