#hyperspecific poll#poll#tag#elaborating on a few in the tags:#we had 2 midterms in compsci and the prof said 'im not sitting through you taking the test but i'll take your previous midterm score for#this one' thinking that anyone who slept thru a midterm would be a bad student but joke was on him bc i got 112% on the first midterm#bc extra credit#and he didn't want to go back on his word once he realized that#for another one: my japanese teacher in high school always pronounced my name In Japanese aka no AmE vowels#so i never clocked UNTIL GRADUATION when she said my name to my parents in English#that she thought it was pronounced like every other English speaker thinks 'sharon' is pronounced
