#it's almost as if not everyone lives the exact same lives... 9 out of 10 people could be living it up in college but the 10th person has#more fun in their 30s than they ever did in college. someone can be at their career peak as early as 30 and others could start over at 30#i honestly can't tell you how fucking depressed this mentality made me in high school and all of college it's only recently that I've starte#started trying to unlearn this. someone went so far as to insinuate even if you're at your most miserable from 13-21 it'll still be the best#time you'll ever have and it's all downhill after that etc etc and honestly FUCK you for telling vulnerable and scared kids that#my dad has a bigger and much much more fulfilling social circle and social life at 52 than maybe ever. the guy literally lives like hes 25#our family doctor was still bettering his knowledge of medicine at the age of 88#life is not all about 13-25 it just can't fucking be and fuck you if you've made even a single person believe that#anumania
