I have a feeling that he'd be pretty stiff, and he wouldn't know how to initiate or reciprocate affection [ atleast at first ]

But if you ignore his stiffness, I feel like hugging him would be very nice! I just think he looks like he'd be rather warm.

If you do that thing where you like, run at him and tackle him and he will always catch you !

Crab in Orange may not understand why you enjoy showering him in this thing you call 'affection', but he indulges you nonetheless. Honestly I think he might find it a little fascinating, especially since every time he feels some sort of warmth within him that he cannot explain...
