okok i got my day planned out then 🫡 go get a chicken sandwich breakfast, watch the untamed, get crossfaded, whenever i "want" to stop watching the untamed clean and then keep playing ori. perhaps keep reading at some point, but ori is Really nice as an experience.

#sry to my silly idea of making a commemorative song for today.. the alternative just sounds sm nicer #perhaps there will be more to celebrate and ppl to celebrate with on my 1yr anniversary 😌#also. metroidvania games rule #my favorite genre of game is metroidvania but u r a little guy #like ori and hollow knight. literal metroid games r peak gaming to me too 😔💛 i feel like there aren't ENOUGH Metroid games #but fromsoftware games r p fun too lol. i think imma ditch Prey again and play elden ring after ori bundle 😭#i think the problem w a lot of modern games is like.#u have skill trees to compensate for the fact that ur game doesn't have much variation itself.#i am too grown busy and tired to ve grinding for a skill tree so I'll likely max it out immediately so i can just Have Fun #except it stops being fun a third of the way through bc the game itself isn't very interesting or something I'm invested in #where with Ori u have to go seek out ur abilities and u get them often enough that the gameplay always feels fresh #in addition to a great variety in setting tone enemies and combat/nacigational tactics #i think where metroidvania games rly shine for me is simply the act of Going Somewhere can be really fun bc #navigation and combat abilities r intertwined to whatever extent. like it's soooo fun to me.#okok I'll go start my day 🫡🫡🫡🫡
