you've gotta be fucking kidding me. finally. finally, finally, finally, i fixed obs virtual camera's major bug on my device. all i had to do was rollback v4l2loopback. i swear to GOD i'd done that. i actually could have sworn i tried that. but i guess. not. and now i just have to keep it on an older version until v4l2loopback gets another update which, looking at its github, may take fucking months. god i love free and open source software

oh this is a fun little thing i also need to manually exclude v4l2loopback utils and dkms every time i system update until it's going to a version i didn't manually downgrade from
