J   :   JEALOUSY.   does your muse get jealous in a relationship?

Two of my muses are very much not jealous inthe least. Roka and Muunokhoi will encourage their partners to dates and sleep with others, to enjoy themselves and have fun with life, to chase happiness in whatever manner catches their fancy. They'll sit over coffee with you and gush over how great your date with someone last night went, or offer ideas for where you could go on the next one or a cute gift. Roka will even sneak off to meet the other people if she hasn't been formally introduced in order to give them ideas for how best to delight their shared partner. She'll leave them lists of favourite things or drop off a packed picnic basket if the weather is nice to encourage a cute date.

W'khusai doesn't care if her partners see other people, she just doesn't really want to hear about it. The time you spend with her should be about her, not about the other people in your life. She won't ask, so she doesn't expect you to tell her about it.

G   :   GIFT.   is your muse good at gift - giving or do they struggle to get it right?

W'khusai is literal garbage at gifts. If the Seeker is presenting you with a token of her affections there's a high chance it's in the form of something she caught and killed recently.

Probably something she did so on Pearl Lane.

Almost definitely at least a little diseased because what lives ont he Lane and isn't?

On occasion she might manage a nicer gift. Something shiny she pinched off a merchant that just happened to make her think of you. Please ignore the ingraving on it, she's just a poor lil girl on the Lane! You think she can read that? She can read common quite well but she doesn't like to let on

3. What sort of daydreams / stray thoughts they have about their love interest(s)

Roka... Tries not to. She'll generally try to stomp them out or ignore whatever thoughts creep up on her. She's got such a long history of the people she loves dying that she doesn't want to keep adding to the list, and letting herself linger in thoughts of things that are so damning is just torture. She's not always successful, and in moments of weakness she might close her eyes and let herself wonder things about them, or draw up memories of them like their scent of certain expressions, their touch, or fond moments that she wants to hold on to.

Khoi is more than happy to spin himself little fantasies about assorted scenarios, some on the risque end while others might be mundane little day trips he'd like to sweep his crush/interest off to enjoy. If you can't enjoy their company at the moment and have no other pressing matters on hand, there's no harm in letting your mind wander to someone who's managed to make themselves a home in there.

W'Khusai just... Doesn't. The only romances she's witnessed ended with the death or disappearance of one party and the remaining one in pieces. Pieces that Khu often had to help try and put back together, or weather the storm of and hope to see come through the other side. She doesn't want any of that in her life, thank you very much. The closest to daydreams she entertains about people, in general, is that she'll pick a pocket and walk away with a proper fortune from it instead of scraps.

Oh. Oooooh yes. Yes I love both of these ideas. I could totally see Khoi being Khoi and flirting with the pretty Raen and making friends and her being smitten because... LAD. I love it. I think they'd be pretty cute as friends and whatever else from there, he'd be absolutely enthralled listening to her talk about work things.

And hnnnnnng ashdkjfhk I could absolutely see Khu running into Vaza and being just... 'Wow she's so cool... Fuck now I have to be cooler than her?!?!?!' and then proceeding to make Vaza her rival while poor Vaza has no idea who this Seeker is that follows her around and tries to one up her in everything. Decides this kid is weird wtf and this is an odd way of someone trying to make friends but hey... It's not like she's all that great at making friends either!

❖ What is Khu’s most cherished memory?

Cups of coffee being served out, asses planted on flour-coated countertops and trays of baked goods being rotated in and out of ovens. Laughter echoing and playful insults tossed around the cramped kitchen of the Gilded Aster in the dim bells before official opening. Croissants snatched off hot baking sheets as they were whisked by and lighthearted scolding that she was going to burn her fingers right off.

Almost any morning in the cafe, once the rush of prep was done and it was just them, Roka with a cup of bourbon-laced coffee and Khu with a cup sweetened heavily with cream and sugar, for a time Marl as well among them, enjoying the reprieve before the chaos of opening. Talking, or just lingering in each other's presence. Those moments are precious beyond words to Khu, moments where she felt like she belonged in someone else's world for a little while and where she fit into her place there without feeling trapped.

🎁what do they want most? what are they willing to sacrifice to get it?

W'khusai will never, in a million lifetimes, admit to it. You couldn't pry it from her lips through torture (well maybe you could, she's not actually as tough as she likes to pretend). But what she wants more than anything? Is family. People she can fall back on and not have to bluff and bluster around. People who have her back no matter what.

The problem is, for as much as she yearns for that, she's also selfish and refuses to trust people. She doesn't let people in, and won't give you a chance to be her family. Khu refuses to sacrifice anything she has for anyone, no matter what she might gain, because she refuses to lose anything she already has.

🔪 which of the seven deadly sins best fits your character?

W'khusai is pride, easily. She's full of herself to dangerous levels, her confidence is through the roof without anything to actively back it up. She'll tell you that she's the baddest bitch around, that she's the best thing on two legs.

Even when she's rattled she holds fast to that cocky attitude and refuses to be anything other than utterly sure of herself.

✋ are their hands dirty? pristine? what do their fingernails look like?

W'khusai's hands are often dirty. Grime from the Lane, dust and dirt and sweat. She 'washes' them when she thinks to if the occasion presents itself, but more often than not she's happy to let them be filthy.

She personally doesn't care one way or the other, though it does feel nice to scrub oneself and soak in a bath and be squeaky clean, howver there are benefits to looking a proper shabby mess. Eyes linger on nails that don't have dirt under them, notice is taken of clean hands. When she's in the Lane, looking to easily disappear among the dredges, she doesn't want to stick out. Being just another pair of grimy hands in the crowd suites her just fine when she has yoir coinpurse tucked away in her pockets.

⚡️ what do they do when they’re nervous?

W'khusai bluffs even more than she normally might. She puffs up, she gets louder, more obnoxious, more assertive. She's not nervous, you are. How dare you insinuiate that anything might rattle her? She'll do her absolute best to fake it til she makes it and not budge until either her nerves settle or the cause of it is well and gone from sight.

13. What are their speech patterns like? more formal or informal?

(My WoL Reinette already answered this one, so... On to the non-WoLs!)

W'khusai doesn't have a formal bone in her body. She knows of manners, they're a vague concept that just don't apply to her. Khu is brash and open in her language, accented and influenced by the desert and Ul'Dah both, along with words picked up from others who have traveled more. Profanity and slang are commonly used, half her words are mispronounced intentionally, and she's not likely to give you a genuine thank you or polite please.
