does anyone else have this thing where they need to be just the right amount of fixated on something in their free time in order to actually be productive outside their free time, but not too much so it affects your productivity, but also not not fixated on anything because otherwise you just waste time trying to find that something instead of being productive or enjoying your free time

#does this make any sense?#like i need to start studying for exams but i don't have any specific thing to fall back on when i'm done studying for the day #so instead of actually focusing on studying i just keep pickup up books/manga/series and dropping them because i can't find something that #holds my attention just the right amount #but when i was reading witch hat atelier the last few days that was too much because i wouldn't do anything else #i think the last few years it was always a webnovel that i read over exam season because they're light and entertaining enough but because #it's words instead of visuals it's less.. consuming? yknow?#anyway idk what to read #well i've been reading can ci pin but it's a bit too serious and slow especially the part i'm on rn #might start the earth is online. maybe
