so everyone is very outspoken about phoebe and her sun/moon symbolism, and to a slightly lesser extent the stars and constellation symbolism of orion, so where exactly does that leave us with oliver?? i would argue that his own celestial object would be planets, the earth. oliver, deriving from the olive plant, grown from soil. cultivated to go one way, to show loyalty to his roots. and in a way he does, only his loyalty goes to his siblings rather than lady hong. a steady and reliable character like the earth itself
Plot twist, Ryder from the Graham effect is the son of Aaron (Hannah’s r*pist)
And when Hannah & Garrett first meet Ryder, they learn where he’s from and who’s his dad is. Hannah almost has a panic attack from the news. Garrett upon seeing his wife’s reaction forces Ryder to leave their house (Gigi gets super upset & Wyatt is confused)
Usually I'll think of little bits of dialogue or a joke or whatever, and it kind of ends up growing from there. So I'll have one or two fully fleshed out bits like "Perturabo tells Fulgrim he isn't in fact good at parties" or "someone drinks Cerveza Cristal" for example and then a much looser overall outline connecting them together that needs to be filled in.
19 - the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic?
Ooh, this is tricky because there's a very thin line between "stuff that interests me and then I put it in a fic" and "stuff I looked up specifically for a fic" but I would say, apart from running off to Lexicanum to check lore etc, it would be various eras of historical air battles for Set Fire To Us All. I picked out interesting details about stuff like Wild Weasel aircraft in the Vietnam War and gave them a grimdark makeover since it seemed like the kind of dangerous thing the Night Lords would make someone else do.
28 - your least favorite part of the writing process?
Filling in the outline!! A big flaw in my particular way of writing. And also actually getting things finished and posted when they're like 95% done - I get to a point of being fed up of them and wanting them over with but that leads to lots of delay and procrastination unless I really push myself.
First drawing of the month lets GO, felt like drawing λ was a good choice for this one %] (especially given how important his multicolored eyes are in his backstory, I'm givin' my boy his chance to shine here he deserves it- but im goin' on a tangent now my bad)
"sue? can i call you sue? —right, susan," he corrected himself when the concierge sent an unamused look his way. "susan," he repeated himself to let her know that he understood she meant business. "there must be a mistake. we should have two rooms, under garrett graham? or maybe john logan. we're close personal friends of dean di laurentis." was it wrong to exploit your friend to get further in life? maybe. did garrett and logan care? no. they were shameless. and it's not like this hurt dean at all. financially or otherwise. he lifted his gaze, saw the sign on the wall and corrected their friend dean's name. "dean heyward di laurentis." it probably helped to actually say the name that he shared with the plaza. susan didn't look convinced, and garrett was pretty sure he heard the concierge mutter something under her breath about how everyone was friends with mr. heyward. he looked over his shoulder for help, but logan just held up his phone with a shrug, letting him know dean didn't answer.
"i see no mention of mr. heyward, but there is one room for mr. and mr. graham. it's a king suite, so you and your husband will be very comfortable." this had to be a fucking joke. dean was fucking with them. this was revenge for all the pink taking over their house, he knew it. he could feel it in his bones. garrett didn't have the funds for another room ( not until his birthday ) and logan couldn't afford a place in a hotel called a plaza . . . so a single bed it was. he rubbed a hand down his face and didn't bother correcting the concierge. hell, he didn't know if she was serious or just being a little shit. probably the latter. "we'll take it," he conceded, glancing over his shoulder to shrug at an approaching logan. ten minutes later they were walking into their suite. "i'm not a cuddler," he informed, only half kidding, but really, he was just trying to make light of the frustrating turn of events. garrett loved logan more than anything, but damn. he was kind of hoping he could at least face time his girlfriend.
