Hey, so currently I’ve seen a lot of misinformation going around about the Brazilian leak so to get this straight: the reason in the end this leak is proven to be valid is because two months in advance it predicted that there was gonna be a ‘me too’ line and then the Spanish dub essentially confirmed this to be true. 1/2

Also did you guys know back then the context of the ‘me too’ and when was the first time you mentioned it here? I know that it was already known days before the Spanish dub, but I think it makes it even more credible if you mentioned it here two months ago, even before the episode aired in US. 2/2

While we didn’t really POST about it publicly in great detail, if you check the blogs of me, curioussubjects and several others starting in September, “me too, (name) me too” became a running joke reply. Like I said, dogwhistles galore across the blogs.

As for when it was FIRST received by anyone in our orbit

This is what I’ve got. I thought it was Sept 6 but apparently it was Sept 2. 

There was a lot of chaos around it. We didn’t publicly release it as much as play in dogwhistles publicly because we didn’t know how legitimate it was. An entire back end of my server was dedicated to 1. Trying to punch holes in the leak 2. Failing 3. Clowning 4. Repeating infinitely.

Now “CW brazil” ended up to be casual slang, before anyone even tries to pick that apart. We even tried to use that to debunk it, did some foraging, and then it only mutated into something more powerful, as most attempts to debunk it did.

It took us like a month to get more information because the person who shot the message ended up absent from covid but we tried and by then apparently an entire drama had gone down in Brazil about it getting out, IDK.

So hoooooooopefully that answers things.

I should also clarify, the transcript had been shoved through a translator at that point from what was originally portuguese so there was funny shit like it picking up the wrong gender of pronouns and stuff, and there had been a typo of “cas” as “casa” so it translated as “home”, etc. So we had to pick through it. We do not know what the exact original-language “me too” was. Presumably it’d be like Et tambem or something, I’m no Portuguese Specialist. But keep the translation stuff in mind, we just got the raw of it vomited back out. 

If you check my blog, when I have access to leaks, I more use clownwhistles. Like for 15.17 I had been posting for a few months about “The art of the shadow of the abyss,” which is summarily the latin translation of death’s key Sam read early. I don’t just... blow my load into the blog publicly. Example (x)

When I say the plot got dropped on its ass, I mean it. Notice the use of swan song in there, which later became a PR line about Cas, but even in that entire mytharc theory, that was still supposed to have another step. All of it said there was another step. And then it just got dropped.
