#my art#hope u guys like it#(note i did delete the original post i made to repost this one :/ )#i really like this#i wanted to draw someone dancing in the fun#don't really know what you're doing but having a great time sorta way#and i wanted to try out drawing depth#idk if that's the right way to say it...#and conveying motion :D#i think it worked out really well ^-^#btw it's my pfp now >:D#it also has that tragic kinda vibe because the extreme shading makes it look like sunset#and sunset is a really good metaphor for times that soon pass.#because night's coming right#and while night has it's own beauty that can be just as breathtaking as daytime#it's also when the wolves are howling#when you can't see what's ahead and don't know if you'll make it through#when you're most vunerable and even your mind is playing tricks on you#when you light a fire to scare away the small dangers#close your doors and wrap your blankets tight#but then the dawn comes and the carefree happiness is restored.#and things have changed#for better or for worse.#evening is the daylight's last hurrah#before the sun falls below the trees and the moon is the only thing left to light your path#sorry for the rant :P#also would like to note#because a bunch of my christian classmates called them varying pronouns and couldn't decide#i have decided that they would probably like any/all pronouns#also because i think they'd wear a dress for the swishy swishy :D
