Hot take but

**whispers** the Flashback Arc is actually a pretty interesting Railgun arc.

It just, you know, doesn't feature the titular character much which is a staple of Toaru works, right, Index? and in fact doesn't feature the main four at all which. Sucks.

Also it has its pacing absolutely nuked due to the monthly release schedule and whatever the fuck is the reason why we only get 15-20 pages per chapter (or less) for a monthly manga.

Anyway once you've gone through the five stages of grief about all of the arc's weaknesses, the new characters are enjoyable. I love Mikagami's "I'm so done with everything" attitude.
