I think the way that Namari treats Marcille in the last few chapters is sooo funny after all the tension built up in the undine saga and Chilchuck's little diagram of party dynamics. "they hate each other!" but Namari's gently holding a sad crying elf without so much as batting an eyelash at her clinginess.

I get it though. Namari's just butch4femme to the fucking core of her soul. Sure, Marcille is easy to be annoyed at when she's being huffy and prissy--but the second the Sad Girl Eyes come out her protective instincts kick in and override any prior grievances. It's not even attraction really it's just what you have to do when you're a butch faced with a delicate girl in need of help
