me: this term, I’m going to have my shit together, I’m going to be punctual and professional and ALL THE THINGS

also me: 20 mins late for my own class (as in a class I am teaching, which is upper-division) because I couldn’t figure out where the building was and then how to get inside it >_<

#i was also behind schedule bc of road construction but realistically that wouldn't have made a difference #if my autism brain wasn't like 'direction? what sorcery is that? we wander around until things looks familiar'#google maps eventually saved me but even the step by step directions were confusing for a bit... god #also my department kindly gave me back to back morning classes (which i prefer) and then placed them across campus from each other #which i didn't realize until today bc i couldn't remember where the buildings were spatially. lol #anghraine whines #rare breed of attack unicorn #ivory tower blogging
