and yea it was bad of me for leaving screaming jay hawkins out of the classic rock poll, but the truth is ppl looking at that poll probably only know who jimi hendrix and chuck berry are 😭 and considering the results rn my theory is CORRECT! that's why i ended up leaving tina turner and prince out too, prince would just take over everybody else....

#which is why i said if prince wins on that one poll he's on I'll side eye because no offense to him! but he is such a cop out answer #like it just tells me u dont listen to enough (black) rock because prince was a huge crossover artist he was basically a pop star #but i knew i would get ppl saying 'um wheres prince?' if I left him out ☹ like idk we need to diversify our lives and tastes 👍#probably shouldnt have added him at all tbh. i was gonna put (the easy answer) next to his name but I didn't want to be disrespectful #the point was to find otehr artists that arent just the big ones that get talked abt thats why the rlly obvious ones were left out too
