I'll definitely write a new meta post about the parallels between FF Coppola's Dracula/Mina and Sauron/Galadriel later.
Thinking of this wonderful movie reminded that we don't enough credit to Coppola for shamelessly saying,
"So Dracula's totally evil, he's hot af, he's rotten to the core, he said f*ck to God and started mass slaughtering people because he was sad his wife died ; but see, I don't care, I'm gonna give him a soulmate who's the literal reincarnation of his dead wife, she'll fall helplessly in love with him even though he murdered her best friend and tortured her bethroded, and she'll keep loving him even after she marries the other guy, who she will cheat on! And even better, when he finally dies, he'll go to HEAVEN where he'll reunite with his wife and have a HEA!" 🤌🏼
(He also said, "the lore? What lore? I just want to write a big budget fanfic" 😍😇)
Hmmm I'll definitely watch it again tonight 🥰
EDIT JUST FOUND OUT THAT MORFYDD CLARK ACTUALLY PLAYED MINA ON SCREEN??
HELLO?!
