I'm such a fan of Post-Hardcore and Screamo that my musical taste makes me unable to judge anything. I'll literally hear a bunch of hypercompressed screams with slightly amateur instrumentals and be like "hell yeah this is the shit. this is the best.".

#like I guess I can still be very critical #for example I know how to appreciate song composition and sound engineering #or song structuring and lyrical complexity; all that jazz #but overall whatever I'm just having fun #like one of my favorite bands is The Mars Volta which is a revolutionary act on Post-Hardcore #with it's insane implementation of math and prog rock qualities with psychedelic sounds and post-rock soundscapes #and other of my favorite bands is like Paramore #which is not exactly a simple band with simple music but they are fairly straightforward and distinctively more approachable #anyway I love music #can you tell??
