folks will ask stuff like "what's the most underrated pixar movie" and the top reply will be like. a well-respected film that made 800 million dollars at the box office and won 30 annies and golden globes and oscars

#mfs say 'ratatouille' 'wall-e' 'coco'#honey i have never seen any of those below A on tier lists #those are great films but like. we need to give more love to films that barely get any!!!#where's the onwards?? the bugs lifes??? heck i'll say brave gets too much hate despite being very flawed #there are actual underrated pixar films that get muffled under talk of respected films that are supposedly 'underrated'#i don't count luca/turning red as underrated because despite their reputations among older pixar fans they're still very popular #idk maybe it's just my onward brain speaking!! but like. i think these films should be talked about as much as the greats #i also feel like WDAS underrated films are talked about way more than the pixar ones #treasure planet/atlantis/emperors new groove/meet the robinsons #etc etc #i think underrated pixar films get less buzz because of the massive expectations people have of pixar #like people expect smaller-scale stories that appeal to audiences that finally get to feel seen in pixar movies #have to compete with toy story/monsters/finding nemo/incredibles etc #but what if i told you: they don't!!#y'all notice how ridiculous it is how we have to compare DND fantasy epics with comedies about talking toys and fish??#y'all realize how weird that is??#anyways i'll stop rambling in tags
