speaking of getting drunk and rambling about video game shit, I'm gonna pour one out for the official wii u and 3ds servers going down today. good memories.

I spent so much time trading pokemon online dude I remember there was this thing called Wonder Trade Wednesday and ppl would send out cool stuff (often they were hacked lmao). I would breed tons of Finneons to send out bc that's a pokemon people tend to forget about and I figured it would help people with the pokedex :3

and ofc I loved splatoon! unfortunately I couldn't play online when I was at college (the wifi just wouldn't let me for some reason) but I played it a lot during breaks. I never played a 1st person or 3rd person shooter before but I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm glad I did bc I still love the series

this isn't really about the online but I played stuff on virtual console a lot and I remember on the 3ds I would go on the eshop and just try random free demos for stuff lmao. that was actually what got me into fire emblem, I played the awakening demo and really liked it (it also helped that it had casual mode bc permadeath was scary). and then I went back and played the older fire emblem games too, I played the stuff on the virtual console and then when I finished those I *ahem* had to find a few roms

yeah uhh 3ds and wii u fun :3 I should try to mod them and figure out this pretendo thing so I can keep playing funny squid game 1
