1. Once they come to an agreement about going abroad for Shirabu’s placement, they put together a whole system to decide on where. The system is based on Shirabu’s wall mindmaps - so, by system, what I really mean is chaos disguised as organisation. They put up a map of the world on their living room wall, and add pins: one colour for the programmes Shirabu can apply to, another one for where they know Goshiki can likely be transferred. The area surrounding the map is print-outs of information about the ccountries, cities, hospitals/volleyball teams, time difference with Japan, cost of living, etc. It looks pretty organised for about a week. After that? It’s a mess. But it feels like... concrete steps and reflection before decision-making. 

2. Remember how we talked about Shirabu justifying having Goshiki as his +1 at events by saying “my friend got dumped recently” and, when Goshiki complained about it, switching the story to “he really has a thing for female doctors and nurses”? Goshiki tried to get revenge by, one time one of these wonderful ladies asked for his number, giving Shirabu’s instead. Of course, it backfired. I don’t know how bhvdhb but it backfired.

3. One fun fact about Goshiki is that every winter? He gets a cold. It doesn’t matter how much effort he’s been putting into avoiding them since childhood, he gets sick every!! single!! year! And pretty bad ones, too. Unfortunately, it annoys him to no end, and annoyed, sick Goshiki is... a pain in the ass. Grumpy and sulky and dramatic: one second he’s scolding Shirabu for being too close because “I don’t want you to catch it!”, the next he’s complaining because Shirabu is avoiding him. I’m sorry, there is no winning this one. His mother denies all responsibility in this, because this is not how she raised him. Once he’s recovering, he tries to apologise to Shirabu by... doing nice things for him or letting him boss him around or taunt him with considerably less resistance than usual. That’s his penitence.

4. Going back to your holidays headcanons, and how you said “ also, better watch out or else shirabu’s brothers will start infiltrating their holiday privacy. good lord. “. One winter, Shirabu’s brothers actually showed up at their door entirely out of the blue, without any prior warning. Goshiki and Shirabu saw them through the camera of the intercom before actually having to answer, fortunately (?), and it made them... panic a little, because they were not prepared, and realised that the apartment in its current state... didn’t quite scream ‘inhabited by two roommates’. So they... pretended not to be there. Shirabu’s brothers called him, and he made up an excuse like being out of town until the evening, which gave them time to rearrange the apartment, but... after that? They looked at each other and agreed that their secrecy policy will only hold so long.
