i just finished watching the second episode of the effect, and i wish i hadn’t. i know the hate going around for this show for quite some time now but i just thought to give it a chance and the first episode was all cute-sy so i was like okay. but what the fuck was the second episode?

raping someone and calling it love is wrong and fucking disgusting.

i mean it really went from being all sweet and nice to fucking disgusting in less that .02 second? how can you even expect the person who trusted you and respected you only for you to rape him to fall in love with you? and you claiming you are in love with them? i don’t think so. it’s so fucking disgusting. it’s shit. it’s pathetic. it’s awful. and i wish i hadn’t watched it bc it is so triggering? and i’m just scarred for life. i just- 

they could have easily chosen the lighter version? i was stupid and naive enough to think that. i was like ‘they obv wouldn’t choose the darker version’ but alas! here we are. 

such shows shouldn’t exist at all. i mean there is no point. had they chosen the lighter version it would have been okay but you really ought create a much darker version filled with rape and suicide and triggering things. i just,,,, i’m so disappointed. 2k19 was going fucking fantastic with all the amazing BLs but they had to ruin the streak with a rape same-sex show. wow. i applaud.

i just watched the first episode of tharntype. i mean i dont know what is all the hate going for this show??? but ye i have some opinions

it started of great

until the last few minutes of the episode

quoting tharn “i dont do drunk people” 

and the next scene shifts to him stroking type’s face

and he says “why am i so attracted to you, type” 

and i would have really appreciated it had they stopped it at this

but no fuck no they had to go on

he literally goes on to molest him and kiss him while he’s asleep bc apparently its all a game? 

i mean what the fuck

i dont get it??? 

i thought this show was going to be nice bc i actually thought the actors have good chemistry and they’re cute (i didnt know the plot that much and all the hate going on with it but im also dumb and still decided to give it a chance) 

but urgh

its cringeworthy 

i mean there was no need for the last few mins of the episode

and i would honestly continued watching the show had the not made us show all that in the last few minutes
