current mood: kinda pissed off that narancia's "trish is me! the wound on her arm is my own!" line is played off for laughs in the fandom and used for 'lol narancia kins her' jokes when it's actually an incredibly important moment where two characters bond over their shared trauma and abandonment issues and we realize that narancia is possibly the first person there (other than maybe bruno at this point) to think of and interact with trish as if she's her own person rather than just an assignment which creates a close bond that has to be acknowledged whether you ship them or not and tbh i'm just kinda tired of this fandom's refusal to take any character's backstory seriously unless it's a fan fave that isn't seen as 'childish' (which, considering narancia is adhd coded is a whole separate issue but i digress) or immature
