Genuinely SO unfair that animals can get sick too. Like what do you MEAN my babies have to be monitored for all kinds of random illnesses and communicable diseases?!?! They’re babies??? They should never suffer??? Or make other babies sick? Unreal

Cooper is getting tested for FIV and FeLV on Monday and I’m so fucking anxious. I know it’s only like a 5% prevalence but his mom was feral so I’m guessing his chances of having either one is a bit higher. If he has FELV we can’t keep him because it would endanger Cookie :( but I know that the tests often produce false positives and you’re supposed to re-test them if you get a positive but like… what do we do with him until then??? Going really just hope he tests negative for everything. Sweet baby :(
