Bunch of equipment icons for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. Each character has six slots, and there are four rarities - but common and uncommon share the same icon.
Sets for Bruenor Battlehammer from the RA Salvatore books, Calliope from Force Grey, Delina from the Bauldur’s Gate comics, and Asharra from uhhh one of the board games.

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms - A Look Back
Hello everyone. Today we are taking a look back at a game I played called Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. This is a D&D themed idle clicker game made by Codename Entertainment Inc.
“Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is a Dungeons & Dragons strategy video game that brings together D&D characters from novels, adventures, and multiple live streams into a single grand adventure.” -from Steam
I decided to take a look at this game making a Fresh Eyes video for the first time I played it. Here is the thumbnail:
And of course, here is the video.
youtube
I actually ended up playing this game a lot, like almost 80 hours worth of this game. If you like D&D, if you like games that can run in the background for easy play while doing other stuff, or if you like idle games, this is the best idle clicker game I have ever played. I don’t know what more I can say other than what my review states.
“This game has been a lot of fun. A game one could play for many years in all reality. I had a fantastic time playing this game for the time that I spent with it. It runs in the background easy. It's easy to hop on and off while doing other things. There is a constant sense of progression, and has been adding community engagement features such as running mission with others, or voting on things during special events. Plus, there is lots of sales, and special drops. I recommend following the subreddit to get extra codes for chests to deepen and extend the gameplay. I was getting on this game and subreddit everyday, but I feel it is time for me to move on to other games. Stay idle.”
Hearts to you.

Alien Swarm - A Look Back
Hey all. This is a small look back at a game series I played called Alien Swarm, a free to play series created by Valve, and revamped by Reactive Drop Team for Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop.
First, let’s take a look at the original game Alien Swarm. This is an isometric online only multiplayer co-op shooter where you’re a squad of marines who are trying to shut down an alien infestation. Created in 2010.
“Co-operative multiplayer game and complete code base available for free.” -from Steam
In order for me to make a video for this game for my Fresh Eyes game series, I teamed up with a couple of buddies, Brandon and Smif.
Smif is a Twitch streamer https://www.twitch.tv/bradinsmif and awesome YouTuber https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiZjXja0THe6U73IL0Wj9vA so I recommend checking out his content. He mostly plays horror and simulator games.
Here is the thumbnail for the first Fresh Eyes video I put out - a video series where I play the first hour or so of a game aiming to show off games, and create entertainment.
The audio and recording quality is not perfect in this video, but I am an ever growing creator, and this was actually recorded before I ever had an idea to create this series in the first place.
youtube
Smif, Brandon, and I spent several more play session after this to beat the game and experience more of the content. I cannot say I am amazing at this game, but it was an amazing experience, especially for a free to play game. This is my review for the game:
“What can I say about this game? Fun, adrenaline pumping, action packed, alien fest. I played this game and beat the campaign with some friends. It was a great time, and really delivered for a free game. I'll probably play Alien Swam: Reactive Drop someday to extend the life of this game. There was some weapons I hadn't unlocked, but I figure it's better to spend the time playing Reactive Drop over this version of the game.”
So, let us move on to the experience of Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop. This is basically the same game as Alien Swarm, but it has many enhancements. It was revamped in 2017, expanded its online play to 8 players, added a single-player mode, and has a lot of campaigns plus access to the mod workshop for basically unlimited re-playability.
“Co-operative top-down shooter game available for free. An epic bug hunt featuring a unique blend of co-op play and squad-level tactics.” -from Steam
I chose to make a Fresh Eyes video for this game as well, and had a great time doing it. Here is the thumbnail for that video:
And here is the video to alongside that:
youtube
I chose to play this game alone, as I do not have the best internet in my current life, and sometimes online games can be glitchy. Plus, I thought it would be really interesting to see what the single-player version of this game was like. In all honesty, I believe the single-player version is a lot easier, as the teammates AI is great and hunting down and destroying aliens. I felt like I was constantly being surpassed by my computer controlled teammates, which leads back to me just really not being amazing at this game. Here is the review:
“This is the superior version of this game compared to the base game of Alien Swarm. Single player was really awesome for me to play through. Then, there's mods on top of that. You really just can't beat it since this is everything the first game had plus more.”
So what are you waiting for? Go play Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop if this game sounds interesting to you. Bring some buddies along for the ride.
Hearts to you.

Minoria - A Look Back
Hello all. This is a look back at a game I played called Minoria, but first, a small story. I have always wanted to make video game content, but life just wasn’t in the right place until recently. When I made my YouTube channel, I was having a tough time, so I let a random generator pick a random game from my gaming catalog. Minoria just so happened to be the game that it chose, and it was a great first game to start these experiences with.
Minoria is a metroidvania game that is relatively short.
“Ink and blood stain the streets of Ramezia. Witches must burn and sins must be judged. Venture forth as Sister Semilla to burn down the pillars of heresy in Minoria, an action-platformer by Bombservice, creators of Momodora.” - from Steam
Here is a glimpse at the first thumbnail I made for this channel. Definitely some room for improvement, but it’s a decent thumbnail.
I love games of all kinds and genres, so I made a video series called Fresh Eyes to be able to show off and play more game with more of a purpose. This is just the first hour or so of my experience with the game. Here is the Fresh Eyes video that goes along with that thumbnail:
youtube
After several more play sessions I beat the game and experienced all of the content that I wanted. My biggest take away is how hard the enemies hit. It can be pretty brutal at times, so avoid all the hits you can. Here is the review I left for the game:
“Minoria is a game with a story having many twists and turns, and questions unanswered. A pretty quick game relatively with some pretty brutal fighting. My biggest challenge was the last boss fight, but with the right patience and practice, this game cuts smooth as butter. The music is peaceful really, if not ominous. I had fun.”
Hearts to you.
