I believe your clown is missing some essential nutrients!!! All clowns are able to derive nutrients from joy and from entertaining others in the form of a vitamin called as Vitamin :D, and I would recommend taking your clown to a clown park or clown owner meetup if possible. You could also have it perform for you and friends or family! Personally, that is what I try to do, but sometimes I can't fit a 3 hour performance with multiple intermissions into my schedule, so taking my clowns out on adventures has really helped them experience the world and perform for others!! It has also given me the chance to explore the world, which in my experience has slowly but surely helped with my anxiety about being out! On a less personal note, you can also buy vitamin supplements online on specialty clown websites, however they're not actually a good long term solution and are more for immediately helping clowns with dangerously low amounts of Vitamin :D. I really hope you and your clown friend are doing ok, and I send my best wishes to you both!!

i wasnt the one to get the clown, my clown was a gift for april fools day because im severely traumatized, depressed and anxious. my aunt thought it would be a good idea because she seen a clownery vlog channel (i think it was called "comedic Klarcs and clowns" or something???) and the handler couple were talking about how clowns are excellent for lifting peoples mood and helping with depression. this was not my choice. frankly because of the day i thought she was joking, that there was a handler somewhere. but no.

i dont want to just rehome my clown (mime) because i am the eleventh home this mime has had, im scared this poor baby will get put down if i dont step up but i just.. i dont know if i have it in me.

my mime has been shedding it's skin? or clothes? in stripes, and i only know about it because i trip on the dang things every day, i sweep it up and there's more. i brush my mime and it doesnt stop. there is more stripes on this mime than mime i swear. i cant even see the stripes i just trip on them. im starting to think this isnt normal shedding behaviour and stress related. please help.

hey, im new to clown husbandry and such and found your blog cute and interesting. so now im here asking, what breeds are your clowns?

HiiiI!!! Thank you for taking an interest in my little family :3 I hope you enjoy clown husbandry! It's such a fun way to meet new people, both human and clown alike. My clowns are all Teacup mixes of some sort. I used to believe that Bookmark was pure Teacup Party Clown but I feel like there's probably something else in there too! Skiggly-wump is 100% some type of mutt but I know he definitely has some Mime in him, and I'm thinking also a little bit of Cursed Amulet Beast in as well (I know cross breeds like that are rare, but he's been known to exhibit some.. unnatural abilities). He is also a little bit of a runt so in my eyes he is like the little Chihuahua of the group! Cakepop is purebred Dark Jester and I got her from an overseas breeder! If you're not good at reading clown needs do NOT get a clown with muted colors. They're either really intense or really laid back, but they still have the same basic needs as any other clown and it can be hard to tell what exactly they need at any given moment. If you want one "for the aesthetic" only and have no experience I highly recommend you either 1. Don't get a clown or 2. Make absolutely sure that you can take care of them before adopting. Clowns are real creatures with real responsibilities attached!!! I trust that you will be good, but I can't in good conscious let a new clown husbandry fan out into the world without warning them that they need to be responsible!! There is a lot of power in caring for something.

Sorry for the rant but it's been so long since I've gotten to talk clown husbandry with someone! Good luck in your clown journey, friend, and I hope I didn't scare you lol
