Did anyone else happen to see @shalesifters poll on the landmasses (followed by the reblog of the mollusc)? I'd like to think that I was born in the wrong generation. I should have been able to experience the joys of being a land-dweller. I may just have grown tired of being in the ocean every day; quite frankly I just want some sort of change or reform (especially considering the incredulous prices of jellyfish nowadays...)

Do I even know what I saw? I know they don't love me, they've said that much, but am I wrong to love them even so? And even when he hits and punches and burns and lashes and screams, more horrid than any father should be, but more composed than any beast, nobody else believes me. I don't get it. It's gotten me thinking about whether it's all in my head. That thought makes me sick to my stomach, but maybe I'm sick in my head to think that anything is wrong. Nobody around me sees any issue; Why do I? Don't they know how wrong this all is, how far we've gone from the original design of love and kinship? Is the issue me? The sins of my father weigh heavy on my frail back, and I fret every night that my back may break.
