I usually don't post here because what if I say something that's dumb as fuck? Sometimes I do remember I'm on tumblr though.

last night i dreamt i was gifted a burlap sack containing with all the varietys of sting rays in the world. for some reason i decided to enjoy these sting rays by taking each one of them out while lying in bed. i would hold each one up to my face to look into their eyes. when i held the final one its eyes opened and they were huge and catlike and it started biting my hand and then i realized i forgot to put the second to last one down and it started biting my other hand. finally i shook them off and ran to my computer to google "stingray bites poisonous" and the results were just the words "its fine" really big letters

if i had a time machine and i wanted to absolutely destroy an ancient emperor or king, i would take them to the shark tunnel of an aquarium. giving them an ozymandias view of their legacy would do nothing, they can see that all empires rot just by looking around them. but the shark tunnel of an aquarium is something they haven’t seen before, something no one has seen before, something magnificent that they could build with technology only slightly out of their reach. they would bankrupt their nation trying to recreate that shark tunnel for themself. their dynasty would collapse within three generations, and, if heaven is on my side, they themself will be eaten by a shark to the delight of generations of historians to come

Wanna hear my favourite power in any game?
So! In Chronicles of Darkness, the way skills work is you have a broad skill and then specialties in that skill. Say, you could have Academics and then a Specialty in physics, say, or Persuasion and then Bribery. Got it?
One vampire bloodline has a universal skill specialty in "snakes". They have + 2 dice to all rolls - enough to match a skilled person - as long as that roll directly involves snakes.
Which is amazing. I can't fight unless I'm wielding a snake. I can do art commissions as long as you commission a snake, because I otherwise can't draw. I can sell snakes - don't ask me to sell anything else, gotta be snakes. I can give you detailed insider knowledge of the history, culture and political situation of any region on earth but only regarding how it affects the local snake population.
Roll to Snake, Motherfucker.
