So, we celebrated Pushkin鈥檚 6th June birthday, and with him, the birthday of the modern Russian language as it is today, because of him. He was, by the way, of African origin.
By memory I recited one his poems which was,
Winter Morning/袟懈屑薪械械 褍褌褉芯
Cold frost and sunshine; day of wonder!
But you, my friend, are still in slumber -
Wake up, my beauty, time belies:
You dormant eyes, I beg you, broaden
Toward the northerly Aurora,
As though a northern star arise!
Recall last night, the snow was whirling,
Across the sky, the haze was twirling,
The moon, as though a pale dye,
Emerged with yellow through faint clouds.
And there you sat, immersed in doubts,
And now, - just take a look outside:
The snow below the bluish skies,
Like a majestic carpet lies,
And in the light of day it shimmers.
The woods are dusky. Through the frost
The greenish fir-trees are exposed;
And under ice, a river glitters.
The room is lit with amber light.
And bursting, popping in delight
Hot stove still rattles in a fray.
While it is nice to hear its clatter,
Perhaps, we should command to saddle
A fervent mare into the sleight?
And sliding on the morning snow
Dear friend, we'll let our worries go,
And with the zealous mare we'll flee.
We'll visit empty ranges, thence,
The woods, which used to be so dense
And then the shore, so dear to me
Sorry about recording ending there 馃檪
I found beautiful that other languages like Croatian share similarities.

Psychologist Reveals Why Ghosting Hurts So Much:
Ghosting鈥攁 modern form of silent rejection鈥攃an feel devastating, and psychology helps explain why.
At its core, ghosting triggers two powerful human needs: the desire for social connection and the need for closure.
According to psychologist Michelle Drouin, we spend much of our lives thinking about how others perceive us, a social skill that evolves as we grow and helps us build relationships. When someone suddenly cuts off communication, we鈥檙e not just left in confusion鈥攚e鈥檙e left craving answers, battling uncertainty, and feeling the sting of emotional abandonment.
More than just curiosity, what truly hurts is the loss鈥攐r the threat of losing鈥攁 valued social bond. From early development, our sense of belonging is shaped by our interactions and the approval of others. Ghosting delivers a blunt message: that someone we cared about has chosen to disconnect without explanation. That rejection can ignite anxiety, self-doubt, and obsessive thought patterns, especially in an age where past interactions are digitally preserved and endlessly reviewable. But as painful as ghosting is, Drouin advises moving forward鈥攂ecause someone who wants to be in your life will always find a way.
