Here’s a slightly different post for my feed. On Sunday, March 8th, 2020—my Mom (@lorrie_oswald) and I ran the @lamarathon. This was my very first FULL marathon and my Mom’s 13th (!!!). For those who are unaware, a full marathon is 26.2 miles. In comparison to past races I’ve participated in, this was by far the most challenging and yet most rewarding experience. It was so amazing to see the streets of Los Angeles from a pedestrian perspective and it really gave me a greater appreciation for the city. I am forever grateful for my accomplishment and look forward to hopefully doing this again!! Thank you to my amazing and badass Mom for being my forever #fitspiration and for motivating me throughout this endeavor!! And thank you to all those who cheered us on, especially my friends who walked the final stretch with us!
