The power of technology! I’m working on selling on Etsy and Fine Arts America (links to both my shops in the description, they aren’t quite complete yet) I wanted to see the quality of the digital scans and how big they could go, but this blew me away! It amazes me that we can now take such a tiny original and blow it up so big but it still retains it’s quality! I went to a friends house the other day and saw this old painting hanging front and center, even though it’s not the best work this #painting has so many memories attached to it, I painted it almost 15 years ago after #traveling in #Ghana for a month with my #lonleyplanet book 📖(before phones had internet) . That trip and the people I shared it with left a lasting impression on my heart. And thanks to my friends that saw the value in these paintings and kept them for all these years, you hold a piece of me 😘

When you feel sad and broken and alone remember that there is someone who loves you all it takes is reaching out and grabbing a hold. I painted this in a very depressed state and thinking about that got me out if it.
