best thing about discovering asexuality for me, is that I wasn't broken. I saw the term and definition online and practically cried because i was so happy. I wasn't alone, there was a name for the things I felt.

Are you alive?

Hey anon,

Yes and no. I was going to post something before the new years but didn’t have a chance to straighten out everything I wanted to sort out first. As possibly mentioned before I suffer from some pretty moderate to sever chronic depression and anxiety. I’ve been in a really bad place the last 3-6 months (tried to go to a psych ward, had a few breakdowns, etc) and also I moved across country back in November. I haven’t had the time or energy to run a positive blog but I’m glad people still follow and check this one out.

As part of my recovery attempts I’ve also done a lot of soul searching and self care and tried to get to know me better. Some of the things I’ve discovered is that I’m grey ace at most, non-binary and bi. I also was diagnosed with Aspergers and learning more about that (and myself) has been interesting. Sometimes I’ve doubted I’m ace and maybe I’ve just been confused and uncomfortable is because of the autism growing up or maybe I’m grey ace or demi, but for now I don’t fully identify in the ace spectrum all the way anymore as I learn more about me.

So between mental illness and the realization I might not be ace or only grey ace has made it hard to go into the ace tags as of late. (Especially with all the discourse and hate…) I don’t know if I’ll ever fully revive this blog again. If I see good ace posts on my dash I’ll throw them over here but that gets few and far in between.

I am alive. I did survive 2017 but I got a lot of work to do to make it through 2018 and the coming years after. Thank’s for checking in on me and sorry this blog can’t be as consistent as we all would like. Happy 2018 and many blessing and good things and positive vibes for all <3

I found this stereotype about Asexual being obsessed with dragons… I do really like dragons… and there is a contests about drawing dragons going on right now on this Ace/Aromatic amino I’m on… Either way dragons are great. I think I might put this on a shirt.

I had a crazy dream that this world was a computer simulation and that sexual and romantic attraction wasn't actually real. They just put test subjects in to see if they succumb to societal pressures and many did but some were lucky and found other test subjects through tumblr and discovered the ruse and started a resistance movement. I'm trying to convince myself that it was just a dream because this would explain everything! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
