sorry if this is a silly question, but im new to tumblr, and dont quite understand how to schedule a post. what do I type in so that it posts on christmas automatically? tysm!

It’s quite alright! Tumblr can be a bit confusing with the scheduling feature. 

So once you have your post ready, you’d have to type the date (mm/dd/yyyy) where the schedule option is. You can also type a time if you want to specify a time. For example, I wrote 12/25/2020 5 pm:

And it queued the post for the specified date and time:
