First skit thing!

this one is about a caring friend group and a sleep deprived MC!

(the group is at Friend 1’s house, sleepover, time 9:30pm, fake story!)

*Everyone in the lounge room, everyone but MC is on the couch, MC is on the ground in that corner near the end of her couch, away from everyone just playing games on her phone because she forgot everything else, they are all keeping their voice low so MC cant hear*

Friend 3: Did you guys hear how much sleep MC got last night?

Friend 1: No? How much?

Friend 3: She got less than 2 hours.

Friend 4: Actually?

Friend 5: Yep, I was there when she said it.

Friend 2: Oh my god.. She needs more sleep..

Friend 3: That's what I always say!

Friend 1: She never listens though

Friend 3: like you can speak

Friend 1: Well at least I get above 4 hours a night

Friend 3: fair enough

Friend 2: Who would she listen to though?

Friend 5: I don't know, Friend 1 maybe?

Friend 1: I have already tried, she won't listen to me unless I sound really concerned, she has listened to me once.

Friend 2: Do you think she would listen to the whole group? Like if we all asked her?

Friend 4: Maybe!

*MC looks over because Friend 4 speaks loudly*

MC: You guys good over there?

Friend 3: Yeah we are fine

MC: ok..

*MC looks back to her game*

Friend 1: Friend 4 keep your voice down!

Friend 4: ok ok fine

Friend 2: back to the original topic

Friend 3: yeah, she might listen to the whole group

Friend 2: What if we all went over there and told her to go to sleep? Its 9:30 pm anyway so it's kinda reasonable

Friend 1: She is going to be stubborn about it though, you realise that right

Friend 3: we could threaten her (in a friend way)

Friend 5: Is that mean

Friend 1: she will be fine

Friend 4: lol can I record this

Friend 1: yep, send it to the group chat after

Friend 4: yess

Friend 2: come on let's go

Friend 5: ok!

*they walk over to MC and stand in front of her, kind of cornering her, Friend 4 takes out her phone*

MC: h-hi?

Friend 3: MC. Sleep.

MC: but it's only 9:30 *says in a complaint voice*

Friend 3: It doesn't matter what time it is. Sleep.

MC: But I don't wannaaa

Friend 2: Damn Friend 1 you called it

MC: Called what?

Friend 1: That you would be stubborn about this

MC: Im not stubborn!

Friend 3: you are just proving her point here

Friend 2: back on topic please

Friend 3: Oh yeah. MC go to bed now.

MC: but-

Friend 3: *cutting her off* no buts. Fucking. sleep. right. now.

MC: Fine. 

*MC walks toward her sleeping bag and the whole group follows*

MC: happy now?

Friend 3: hmm, no.

MC: what? Why not?

Friend 1: *picks up MC's phone* We know what you are going to do.

MC: but i-

Friend 2: no buts, you don't need your phone to fall asleep.

MC: fine.

Friend 5: We will put it on charge though dont worry.

Friend 4: Are you gonna go to sleep or..?

MC: I will eventually, but why are you guys still here?

Friend 1: We are not leaving until you fall asleep.

MC: what?? Ughh you guys are meannn

Friend 2: deal with it.

*MC turns over to her side to go to sleep, the rest of the group stays and watches like they said, 10 minutes later she fell asleep*

Friend 3: ok we can go back to the couch now

Friend 4: good I was getting bored

Friend 2: What happens if she wakes up in the middle of the night?

Friend 3: Well, we will hide her phone so she can't use that, and hopefully she will go back to sleep.

Friend 5: Still put it on charge though

Friend 2: Yes Friend 5 we will

Friend 1: It is really early for her to go to bed though

Friend 2: doesn't matter, she needs it.

Friend 3: Yeah she can't just neglect sleep forever.

*the night continues on, time now: 11pm, everyone but MC is awake*

Friend 1: It feels weird without MC being here, like I know she is in the room but still.

Friend 3: Yeah her and Friend 4 cant do anything crazy

Friend 2: She needs this though.

Friend 1: Yeah she does

Friend 4: but I dont have anyone to do the christian cha-cha slide in Friend 1’s kitchen with nowww

Friend 3: Deal with it.

*12am*

Friend 1: Ok i'm going to go to bed now, night

Everyone else: Night Friend 1

*1am*

Friend 2: I'm going to bed now

Friend 5: Same

*1:30am*

Friend 4: Friend 3 I need sleep

Friend 3: I guess I do as well.

*they go to bed*

*8am*

MC: *just woke up* is anyone awake yet.. *She looks round* no-one

*MC walks over to Friend 1*

MC: Friend 1 are you awake

Friend 1: It's too early to be awake

MC: Its 8am..

Friend 1: To early

MC: Can I hug you while you sleep then?

Friend 1: Fine.

*MC lays down behind Friend 1 and cuddles her*

*9am*

Friend 2: *just woke up and looks over to MC, see’s she is missing and looks around to find her cuddling Friend 1* the fuck? Hey Friend 5-

Friend 5: *just woke up* yeah..?

Friend 2: look at Friend 1

Friend 5: oh my god i need a photo *she pulls out her phone and takes a photo*

Friend 2: send that to the group chat

Friend 5: I will

*everyone wakes up by 9:30*

Friend 1: *to MC* How does it feel to actually sleep?

MC: I mean im not tired as fuck so..?

Friend 1: good job

Friend 3: MC you up?

MC: yeah?

Friend 3: ok everyone come sit in a circle on the floor

*everyone does*

Friend 3: So MC?

MC: hm?

Friend 3: got anything to say?

MC: *looks genuinely confused*

Friend 1: *gently taps MC, whispers:* she means a thank you

MC: oohh

MC: t-thank you- for making me go to sleep at a reasonable time-

Friend 3, Friend 2, Friend 4, Friend 5: Your welcome

*the rest of the day goes on and everyone but MC has left*

Friend 1: Hey MC?

MC: yeah?

Friend 1: I- im proud of you- I should say this more often, but you are really amazing, and congratulations on getting so much sleep

MC: t-thanks *hugs Friend 1*

Friend 1: *Hugs back*
