Im steaming it with the iron for a few days and leaving it over night and in the day ste it and clamp it again to sit. I have a tarp over it to protect it from dew, rain, snow. The bending is working, just very slowly. This will take time.

Still clamping it. It is become more straight as the bend is straightening. I tired to look up what wood I might have and my conclusion is a type of hickory. During my research, I found the most amazing website for information of wood type and strength for wooden martials arts weapons. (www.zaimoku.org) This website goes Into great details of what woods are best,or not best, to use for wooden weapons. check it out, it is a great source of info.

Next I marked where the two bends where on my staff and tried not to sand off to much in those areas, so I left them thicker.

After watching Way of the Dragon and seeing my first Bruce Lee movie, I am extremely motivated to train more and advance my skills and knowledge! I even made a tribute to three idols of mine!
