What’s the deal with this passage? Back then, in ancient Israel, they used to practically worship Moses. So here, the author is calling out all of those who did saying “Move over, Moses, Jesus is in the house” Here the author was telling the Jews to give the same, if not more, respect to Jesus than Moses. He’s saying that Jesus is not only a messenger from God, but the son in charge. So, if you thought Moses was cool, Jesus is like the superstar version – the one we're supposed to fix our faith on.

To: The Afraid

For the longest time, I was afraid of the dark. Sometimes I still am. That feeling of not being able to see is really unnerving. But you know what? I can find solace on the fact I'm not alone. In Isaiah 41:10, God says that I shouldn't fear for God is with me. When you're afraid, whatever it may be, know that God is right there with you. Protecting and guiding you through the darkness of life. He will give you strength.

In these verses, The author is shouting out from the top of the hills, “Hold up! You've got this incredible story of salvation in your hands; don't let it slip away.” It's a bit like reminding your buddy not to forget their keys because you know they'll regret it later. The author stresses that this isn’t just some old fairytale--- That this happened and it started with Jesus and his back up, his miracles and the Holy Spirit. This is a wake up call.

When you’re feeling worn out and overwhelmed, remember that He is there for you. Bring your struggles to Him, and he’ll give you the rest and comfort you need. He’s saying “Let me help you find peace.” Blue: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” - 2 Corinthians 5:17

Don’t let your past hold you back, you have been renewed in Christ. Embrace the new creation you’ve become and walk confidently in the new possibilities He’s set for you.

Yellow: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” - Romans 15:13

He is here to fill you life with joy and peace. As you put your trust in him, he’ll pour out hope in abundance. Through him, what your outlook change.

"I can do all things through Him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13

For the tired, this verse serves as a rallying cry, a source of encouragement when they feel like they've hit their limit. Relationships are hard. Thankfully the bible gives us several principles on how to maintain a healthy relationship. Here are some.

Forgiveness: "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." - Ephesians 4:32

Honesty: "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body." - Ephesians 4:25

Humility: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves." - Philippians 2:3

Respect: "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." - Matthew 7:12

Communication: "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." - James 1:19

Unity: "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." - Ephesians 4:3

In the first portion of the chapter the author is talking about how in the olden days, God used to talk to us through prophets, but that now He talks to us through Jesus, the Son.
