akko always searches for adventure, and if she can't, she will create problems that lead to adventure. most of the time she is the reason why the group is in trouble. it seems pretty obvious (to me, at least) that she is a 7 with 8 wing. i think what makes her an 8wing more than a 6wing is her determination to become just like her idol shiny chariot, despite what others think of her and whisper to themselves.

sucy is introverted and always at minimum energy. she pursues her interests quietly and observes most of the time. i found that one episode where-in akko had to get into sucy's subconscious to wake her up pretty cute because we get to see sucy's different sides and thoughts on other people–since 5s are very reserved we don't get to see their inner lives and thoughts very often.

i have to be honest: i'm not very sure with lotte's type since i haven't picked up her personality yet. but 9w1 makes the most sense since she's afraid to confront akko about whatever she has going on, and she's usually the one to resolve or at least lessen the conflict when they're in a stump. she isn't that commanding, unlike a 9w8.

i think she's an interesting character. torn between 3w4 and 1w9. it might be an unpopular opinion but i think she is a 3w4: work oriented, more than anything competing with herself than with others.

a/n ~ these are only my first impressions on the characters and i may be wrong. i am still on season 1, so it's too early to make conclusions. once i finish the series (though it may take awhile), or in a good enough spot, my opinions may change. p.s. typists please take it easy on me TT

although shoyo doesn't get the topic because he's practicing–yes, practicing!–volleyball in his head, and rarely ever answer the teacher's sudden question correctly, he still tries his best to focus and convince himself that science is indeed easy, and that the letters in his literature book aren'y moving and he isn't going crazy waiting for lunch and dismissal.

how he manages to do well in his classes while pursuing volleyball is very impressive and admirable (well, he is a smarty pants).

'volleyball isn't a big deal' he keeps reminding himself, but thoughts of it does pass tsuki's mind seldomly–but not so much so that it interrupts his studies. he has fair grades. he goes outside of campus with tadashi during lunch sometimes to buy good food.

suffering. school was made for the likes of him to suffer. as much as he tries to focus, he loses it sometimes: fiddling with his pen or eraser–and biting it–or pulling at his hair. he just can't keep himself still.

tobio could care less about his studies, but alas, he needs to be able to pass and get into the next level. what helps to make him study is his competitiveness towards being better than shoyo. he won't admit it, but deeply he enjoys the occasional study sessions with him.

daichi when he's not leading the volleyball team, is leading a line of girls that favor him. not only that, but he's a magnet for leadership roles. 'why won't you run for vice president' or 'daichi will be your group leader' are phrases he often hears.

it would be bold to assume he's in school during the hours he should be–it's not because he intends not to attend. sometimes he just gets distracted and forgets the time. hey, it shouldn't be a big deal for him; he can practice his serves as much as he wants.

introverted asahi looks diligent on the outside, however inside he is confused and drained during discussions. he usually walks around campus helping friends, running errands for teachers, or in the library to read–occasionally.
