“Ah yes, what would I do without my precious big sis? A lonely member of society... woe is me.” He dramatically placed a hand on his forehead, laughing to himself afterward. “Man, I should be an actor when I get to college.”

“Oh? I think you do know what I’m talking about~.” He grinned mischievously, noticing her cheeks turning pink. “Who is it? I won’t tell anyone. Ryuji, Yusuke? Ann, Makoto? Someone else?” His curiosity was growing bigger and bigger.

It’s been bugging me ever since.” The thief leaned against a wall, hands in his pockets as he listened to the man. “Someone benefits from it? Someone higher than us...” He mulled over it, however, nothing came to mind at the mention of it. “I can’t think of anyone right now, but if that person uses Personas like we do, then we’d better be more prepared when we face them. You’ve done your research, but how’d you gain all this info that quickly?”

A huff escaped the shadow and he clicked his tongue. “He’s someone who expects nothing of me yet. As he should be. I can wear as many masks as I wish to keep him happy. However, I know that he will turn out like the rest. Someone who asks for favors all the time and never sees what I truly feel.”

“I thought I made it clear last time. He’s an idiot for a whole lot of reasons who goes on and on about whatever he’s curious about.” He let out an exhausted sigh and leaned back. “I don’t know if he has a Shadow or not, but I do know what he really thinks of me on the inside. I couldn’t give less of a shit about him. It’s all the same bullshit all over again. Make a friend, they act nice, go to fucking Junes to piss me off, try to make me feel better about myself. Confidence doesn’t grow on trees. I wish he’d leave me alone to drown in my damn misery.” Unless Yosuke finally realizes he has a dungeon and makes it disappear like the rest.

it really depended on the social cues, and situation but that wasn’t really going to be an issue since he doubted yu would ever be visiting canada, though it was still knowledge to know. amusement flickers within blue hues, brow raising as he follows the other’s lead in swaying, glancing down once or twice to double check that his feet wasn’t going to squish yu’s toes before resting on the other again. ‘ i’m going to assume it was rough and not so jolly. ‘ there was little sympathy mixed in with that amusement, ‘ sorry that your morning wasn’t so fun. ‘

he could go on about all the differences though caleb falters, looking a little sheepish, ‘ there’s a lot honestly, but this almost seems more chill than my old highschool. ‘ and when yu questioned if he really enjoyed the contest caleb couldn’t help but flush a little embarrassed. was he supposed to dislike it? everyone appeared to have worked hard on the performances. ‘ i’m serious, you guys did a good job, it takes a lot of bravery to do something like that, reminded me of spirit days at school where all the guys ended up dressing like girls and the girls dressed like guys…’ a pause, haunted house catching his focus, grin forming, ‘ i thought it was well done for a highschool haunted house, considering a lot of people didn’t want to go in, glad to know i’m not the only one that went in…and it can only get better from here on out, practice makes perfect, but i agree.. ‘

“It’s not?” He blinked, confused at that. This was a first. It’s not like he rambled a lot on habit unless he had studied the subject well, be it from school or his own free time of reading books to kill time when he didn’t feel like leaving the house.It made him smile and feel appreciated in a way. “Well, thank you. That’s basically the short version.  It’s also considered rude to enter someone’s home or your own wearing shoes. You should leave them at the entrance first. It may seem strange to walk in your socks.” He gave him a sympathetic look. As he learned more about Caleb’s culture, he found it interesting as well. “I see, that... would be an odd feeling. And yes, that’s right. Excluding King Moron who used my last name because of his authority.” He was glad they caught the killer before anything worse happened, though they did have a few loose ends to tie up.

He was happy the other male was being so honest with him and relaxed more, although only for a moment as he accidentally stepped on his foot because he was too busy listening and quickly recoiled. “Sorry about that...” He muttered, hoping he hadn’t stepped on him too hard. His focus was back on his words. “It’s alright, I’m used to it a little.” He pursed his lips for a second to nod, his smile widening a bit. He loved having his freedom, especially going out at night when his uncle wasn’t home. “In different classrooms? So, you have to move every now and then. It sounds... unnecessary. Your summer break starting earlier than ours sounds like a dream come true.” He lowered his voice, not wanting anyon but Caleb to hear that. “You’re very lucky.” In fact, he might have been slightly jealous of his different lifestyle on the inside. He was quite used to his, however, and would find it hard to adjust to it.

“You can tell me more if you’d like. I’d love to learn more about it. In fact, it’s rare that we learn anything more than basic English here. I can read and write it, but nothing more than that.” He explained. “I’m slowly getting better at it, however. I’m busy with... other afterschool activities.” On the topic of the crossdressing event, he truly was shocked Caleb enjoyed it. “Haha, we’re supposed to wear our normal uniforms and I was dragged into it, but I have to admit I enjoyed myself there a little.” He confessed rather sheepishly.  “Spirit days? You’re a lot more open and advanced than we are as a country. How often do you have spirit days?” He asked, nodding at his comment on the haunted house. “Ah, you must have gone in later than us. I didn’t see you as I was rather busy.” With tending to everyone’s requests but that was beside the point. “I’m happy you enjoyed yourself at any rate.”

Yosuke found himself blushing a bit at the squeeze, he never saw Yu smile like that before. But, it made him happy to be the cause of it. “I’m not great either but, I help my mom a lot~” He replied. “I’ve had a lot of meat this past week, let’s make some sushi, can’t be that hard, right?”

Yosuke was responsible for bringing out all the hidden emotions within him like genuine smiles and even laughter. He was grateful for that. He was finding his old self back. He had never smiled like that before. He let him go after a moment to stretch his arms. The cuddling felt good. "Alright then." He got up from the couch. "Let's make some sushi."
