Oh my god yes. Especially with the focus on young teen fandom experience like shipping and very 14yr and this is deep.

Does anyone else feel like the Helluverse caters towards a younger audience, yet is meant to be viewed by adults? I mainly mean with these 3 big things I recognized happens in both shows.

1. Very quick, easy, undeserved happy endings and resolutions to conflicts.

2. Flaws will get downplayed, excused, or explained away until they aren't flaws. They don't get expanded upon (at least in a substantial way).

3. Complex themes / story arcs become simplified or are easily overcome (and then often times forgotten).

It's especially odd when both shows lean so heavily towards being adult-only. It's like they've put these barriers in place, and it's only hurting the writing in the long run. I just don't get why at every turn something is simplified in some way.

man i don't know how to say this but gazans here are risking their lives to make posts asking for help. they are asking for you to contribute a small amount of money to buy food or medicines or get shelter.

whether we like it or not, we are complicit in this genocide. either because of our silence, or because our tax money if being used to bomb them. i thought that people would be more eager to help gazans, trying to 'reverse' the damage somehow.

contrary to what i thought, people are moving on. they're moving on from the al-shifa hospital strike, they're moving on from refugee camp massacres and from school bombings, they're moving on from dead children and orphaned children.

Lifesaving Surgery Needed for My Child*

I know there are so many campaigns out there, each one needing urgent help, and I truly understand how overwhelming it can be. I also realize my campaign may be coming much later than it should have, and for that, I sincerely apologize. But even in the face of all these challenges, I’m holding onto hope that you might be able to assist us.

My 2.5-year-old child is battling a severe liver condition that causes sudden ruptures in his veins. This leads to him losing nearly half of his blood in just minutes—an incredibly dangerous situation that requires urgent medical intervention. Sadly, the treatments he needs are unavailable in Gaza.

We had a life-saving surgery scheduled for him on October 29 in Jerusalem, but due to the ongoing war, everything was disrupted. We’re now desperately seeking help to ensure he gets the care he so urgently needs.
