Struggle for Survival in Gaza"
Chapter One: Our Days Amidst the War
In the heart of Gaza, in the small town of Az-Zawayda, which was once filled with life, we lived a simple and peaceful life. I am Ahmed, 35 years old, married to Jihan, 29 years old. We were blessed with three children: Rosela, 8 years old, Rital, 5 years old, and Mohammed, 3 years old.

But this peaceful life quickly vanished with the onset of the war, which destroyed everything around us. Az-Zawayda was once home to our dreams, and now it has become a haven for death. The trees we planted together, and the roads we walked on, have turned into rubble and an eerie silence. 💔

Chapter Two: Attempting to Escape
Like hundreds of thousands of families in Gaza, we tried with all our might to find a way to survive. We heard about the Rafah crossing, which could be our way out of this hell. But the truth is harsh. The cost to cross through Rafah exceeds $5,000 per person, making our dream of escape almost impossible. 💸

We didn’t have that kind of money, yet we tried to find any other means to stay alive. But nothing was enough. The war made it hard to find food and water, and we had to adapt to fear, hunger, and constant anxiety about the safety of our children. 😔
Chapter Three: Losing Hope
Months passed as we clung to any glimmer of hope. We struggled to find a safe shelter, but the random bombings turned every place into a deadly trap. Every morning, we wonder if this will be our last day. Every minute carries a cruelty no one can bear. 😢

Our children suffer, and we are powerless to do anything. Rosela, who was once full of life and innocence, now only asks about safety and peace. Rital, the little one, screams every time she hears the sound of an explosion. As for Mohammed, he doesn't fully understand, but he feels the fear in his little eyes. 😞
Chapter Four: The Big Question
In this situation, where does a person go when there’s no place left in the world? How does one live when there’s no hope of escape? Do children deserve this torture? Do they deserve to grow up in the middle of this chaos and destruction?
A question that haunts me every day: “How will I protect my family from this hell?” 😔

Chapter Five: The Final Plea
I write these words in a state of total despair. I write to ask for help, because we have no other choice. We live in Gaza, where there’s no place to escape, no hope of survival, except through the Rafah crossing—but that is beyond our reach. We fight day after day to survive, for our children, for our lives. 🙏
The war has taken everything from us, but we still cling to life. I hope our story will be heard, that these words will find their way into your hearts. I hope we find someone who will help us escape this hell and live in a safe place, far away from death and destruction. 💔
We need your help. 💔
