what did ferena and neki think when they saw yura and Leona together ?

That's an interesting question.

Curiously enough, I’ve developed Yura and Kifaji’s (Neki’s) relationship quite well, almost like a "father-in-law/daughter" dynamic, so to speak. But let’s start with Falena.

Falena👑:

Falena and Yura didn’t meet right away, it actually took a few months after the Tamashina-Mina festival. He had heard a few passing remarks from the royal chamberlain about a certain girl his younger brother had apparently brought to the festival. However, he hadn’t had the chance to see her in person, which only made him more curious.

Kifaji hadn’t said much beyond the facts; he didn’t want to be the one to spread the news that the second prince was in love.

Still, he couldn’t help but drop a few sly comments here and there to the king it was a rather entertaining situation, after all.

After plenty of insistence from his older brother (and the queen), Leona finally agreed to formally introduce Yura during the summer holidays, though he was clearly annoyed, mostly because he didn’t want her to feel overwhelmed.

When they first arrived in Sunset Savanna, Yura was so nervous that she could hardly remember what she was saying- meanwhile, Leona was shooting daggers at his brother to keep him from making any dumb comments.

As for King Falena, he was doing his best to hold back the amusement bubbling inside him. He remained dignified, of course, but he definitely planned to tease Leona later. He hid his initial surprise upon seeing that she was a small human with no magic in her body whatsoever.

He had always assumed Leona wouldn’t pay attention to someone like that but clearly, he’d been wrong. At first, he dismissed it as just fleeting young love and didn’t think much of it in terms of long-term concerns. He was always kind to her, though.

But as the day went on, he began to observe how Leona behaved around the girl… how close they were, how naturally they moved around each other. And his thoughts shifted:

“What if this isn’t just a phase?” he wondered.

He began to seriously consider the possibility.

Was this girl truly fit to be part of his brother’s future?

That question answered itself once he allowed himself to look at Leona’s feelings.

Yes... she was more than fine.

When was the last time he had seen his brother act this way? He saw him smile genuinely. He teased her, protected her, and seemed at peace. Was he even… softer?

On top of that, his own son Cheka adored her and already called her “Auntie.”

That evening, Falena and Kifaji shared a private conversation about the young couple. Both of them were genuinely happy to see Leona love—and be loved in return.

(I think I went on a little too long, lmao. Anyway, now for Kifaji!!)

Luckily, I had copied the content beforehand, so here it is:

if your ok with angst, what do you think would happen if yura was in a re\:zero Au where if she dies she gets sent back in time a while back. I always thought that it was very unrealistic that nobody got hurn during the overblot, I mean riddels was throwing spears and plant life, Leona's magic is basicaly desintegration, the mine overblot phanthom during the proloug...

How would yura change if she when dies during them ? And a part of this bleesing/curse is that she can't tell anyone about it? And the bog one how would Leona react if he somehow figured it out(he's best/favorite subject are ancient spells and curses) ?

This is something I’ve thought about a lot before. In fact, in my story, Yura does get hurt in every overblot in some way.

Quick examples:

• During Leona’s OB, the sand left cuts all over her legs that slowly bled.

• During Jamil’s, she got hit several times and also suffered from the fatigue of all the tasks he made her do, plus the mental exhaustion of trying to escape.

Now, if we were talking about a Re:Zero-style AU, where she dies and goes back in time over and over again… her mental health would deteriorate so much faster.

Yura is already like a flower wilting slowly after each OB and from her recurring dreams about Disney stories. But if she were dying and reviving repeatedly, she’d become a colder, more calculating person. Her main focus would be survival, and she wouldn’t empathize with the boys the same way she does now:

🌼💭: “I’ve died again and again because of your personal issues. I won’t feel any more pity for you than I do for myself.”

She’d still be kind, but much more guarded. She’d be cautious and distant, making it harder for her to build romantic bonds, especially with Leona. (The relationship would still happen, but not in the same way or at the same time.)

However, she probably would’ve become friends with Leona much earlier in this version. They’re more alike than even they realize more than I show in the main story, actually.

Her mind would start to isolate her. Her depression would accelerate, and she’d wither even faster. As for Leona, he probably wouldn’t realize what was actually happening until Yura had an overblot and broke down completely. (Yes, this plot happens in my main story hehe.)

But he would sense something’s wrong: he’d notice how she starts fading little by little, losing the joy she used to show, becoming more anxious. He’d ask her what’s going on, but when she wouldn’t answer, he’d get frustrated..They’d probably fight about it… until Yura, exhausted and overwhelmed, breaks down crying in his arms.

And Leona would hug her like she might disappear at any moment, because deep down, that’s exactly what he’s afraid of.

About your question ✨️

Most people reacted with surprise, because no one expected a couple who were always arguing and throwing shade at each other to actually end up together. Let me explain:

At first, Leona and Yura didn’t get along at all. They’d argue with words, give each other nasty looks when they crossed paths. Later, their relationship evolved into a sort of friendship, though they still challenged each other now and then and that’s what everyone saw. So if you had asked anyone back then if they could ever be a couple, they’d laugh and say, “No way.”

Of course, that was only the outside view. Behind closed doors, their relationship was growing. They got along really well, they understood each other, and they helped each other heal—but away from everyone else’s eyes. So when they finally got together, most people were shocked.

Though… some did suspect it:

• Lilia noticed the way they looked at each other.

• Grim actually knew the whole time because he was always around.

• Trey and Jamil started to suspect something when Yura asked them to teach her how to make a meat pie (for Leona’s birthday).

• Ruggie saw it coming too. Honestly, he played Cupid in a way, pushing them to stop being so stubborn and just become a couple already.

• Jade, with his sharp intuition, also noticed. Yura works part-time at the Mostro Lounge, and for some reason Leona suddenly started showing up there to eat. Jade couldn’t resist playing a few subtle tricks just to confirm his theory. For fun, of course.

• And Vil… well, he was hoping he was wrong, lmao. His reaction was something like:

“Seriously...? Of all the boys in NRC, you had to pick him?”

(Insert disapproving mom/dad tone who’s now fully committed to making sure Leona behaves or he’s getting his ears pulled.)

I can totally imagine Laia and Lavender always arguing over silly stuff, but in reality, they’re the same and actually get along really well, even if both of them pretend otherwise. They're always coming up with ridiculous pranks that only the two of them know the secret behind.🤭✨🐆💥🐆💥 And then there’s Lia on the side, trying to calm them down when they go too far, hehe.🌺🤚

At first, I didn't quite know what interaction to give for Jul and Violet, as Jul is VERY quiet and avoids people. But since Violet is quiet too (remembering what you told me on twt) then he wouldn't be bothered by his presence at all and they would start talking. The moment he knows that he is the daughter of a newt, his curiosity would be aroused (because Jul is quite curious and adventurous. He likes to know new things) so he would try to convince him to go together to explore 🤭

Imagine a silly little story

Yura wanted to surprise Leona somehow—though she had no idea how...

Keith (🐻): "You up for anything?"

asked a good friend she’d made in Savanaclaw. He looked intimidating and had a terrible temper, but he was actually a kind-hearted bear... and he *loved* the idea of annoying Leona. The two didn’t get along very well.

🌼: "Go for it."

After 🐻 helped her get a Savanaclaw uniform (🍩 pitched in too, in exchange for a few coins), he used a simple illusion spell he’d learned in class.

🦁💭: "Please don’t mess with me like this..."

Leona didn’t show how much it got to him. He wanted to be patient... really, he did.

But Yura had a way of cracking through that willpower.

The lion’s thoughts were filled with his pretty girlfriend.

He had been thinking about her even before falling asleep...

🦁💭: "Tch... she should’ve gone for a lioness instead of a tiger... she’s too damn cute."
