BIG PATCH DAY UPDATE (Sleep Naked Mod)

Hi! So thanks to this amazing community of modders I was able to fix the Sleep Naked Mod after today's patch (PC: 1.105.297.1030 / Mac: 1.105.297.1230). Keep in mind that I'm still testing out some options, but everything seems to be ok. I decided to make this update available for everyone since today's patch made my mod unplayable.

- Everyone else can download it on CurseForge, once the file gets reviewed and uploaded.

Update 1.4.0

1. Hey there! Your enthusiasm for the new traits has been incredible, and it's inspired me to push the boundaries even further. This update, although small, is pretty special – it's the concluding chapter for our traits feature. I've spiced things up a bit: now, Sims can earn the "Eternal Dreamer" or "Tormented Sleeper" traits by mastering these fantastic aspirations. So, let's jump in and take a closer look at each of them as we wrap up this exciting journey.

Two Brand New Aspirations: "Dreamland Architect" and "Torment Sculptor":

Ok, a new Category has been added to the Aspirations: "Dreams". You will find the new Aspirations under this one. Both aspirations have 4 levels filled with unique tasks depending on the sim's goals, just like every other aspiration.

You might be wondering, "What if I select one of these aspirations in Create-A-Sim (CAS)? Do I get a boost like with other aspirations?" Absolutely, yes! To smooth out your journey through these dream-filled aspirations, I've crafted a special new trait: "Dream Weaver." Sims blessed with this trait will find it easier to navigate and fulfill the new aspirations. It's like having a little guiding star in their dreamy adventures!

You might also be curious about what happens if your Sim already has one of these traits and decides to tackle one of these aspirations. Can they still pursue it? What unfolds when they complete the aspiration and potentially receive a new trait? Here's how it works: If your Sim has the "Eternal Dreamer" trait, and finishes the "Dreamland Architect" aspiration, there will be no change. They'll keep their "Eternal Dreamer" trait, enjoying all the benefits it brings. On the flip side, if they have the "Eternal Dreamer" trait and complete the "Torment Sculptor" aspiration, earning the "Tormented Sleeper" trait, the "Eternal Dreamer" trait will be replaced by the "Tormented Sleeper", as they are opposites. This replacement will occur in both directions. It adds an interesting layer of strategy to how you guide your Sims through their dream journeys!

Also, a heads-up for you: These new aspirations won't take away your option to snag these traits from the Rewards Store. That's right, you can still head over there and buy the "Eternal Dreamer" or "Tormented Sleeper" traits if you prefer. Or, for those who love a challenge, dive into the aspirations and earn them – come on, no shortcuts, let's get those Sim achievements!

2. The Spanish Translation was updated to include these changes.

1. So one of you guys noticed a little bug in the mod. Vampire sims weren't able to Sleep Naked in coffins while having the "Sleep of the Undead" weakness. Weird, right? It breaks the whole purpose of this weakness. So that's been fixed! Let me know if you notice something else!

2. Some codes got a minor update.

⭐️ Upcoming Social Interactions Enhancement!! ⭐️

Hello everyone!

Big news for the Dreams & Nightmares Mod! Based on the recent poll where you overwhelmingly chose social interactions as your favorite secondary feature of the mod, I’m gearing up for some game-changing enhancements in future updates.

What’s Coming Up:

Currently, when Sims share their dreams, they receive somewhat generic responses – yes, these vary depending on their relationship with the target sim, but they're still not specific. That’s about to change! In future updates, each dream and nightmare will spark unique dialogues and reaction buffs/moodlets. This will bring more realism, making conversations deeply immersive.

Let me show you what I mean with an example featuring Benji and Mateusz. Mateusz recently had a wonderful dream about rescuing a stray dog:

Well, he wants to tell Benji about it...

...and so he does. Benji's reaction to the dream is not just enthusiastic but specific. He shares with Mateusz his personal thoughts and feelings about the story he just heard.

But that's not all. Each of them gets a reaction buff/moodlet expressing how they felt about this exchange. While Mateusz's response might be fairly standard, Benji's reaction is deeply personal – he reminisces about his childhood wish to adopt a puppy. And between you and me, I think he just might make that dream a reality! 🐶

As you can see, this enhancement is designed to make you feel like the Sims are having real, meaningful conversations with each other. It adds personality and a significant level of detail to the game.

The Coding Challenge:

Creating individual responses for each dream scenario is a huge undertaking. This update involves a meticulous revamp of hundreds of dreams and nightmares, all to create a more authentic and engaging experience. To ensure quality and attention to detail, these changes will be introduced gradually. Starting with a select group of dreams and nightmares, I'll expand the updates over time, enhancing your Sims' conversations step by step.

Patch Day Update

Hey guys! the Dreams & Nightmares mod needed to be updated after today's patch (PC: 1.104.58.1030 / Mac: 1.104.58.1230). The new Dreamweaver trait needed some code update, nothing serious but still necessary. Version 1.4.1 fixes this issue, you can download it here.

On the other hand, the Sleep Naked mod is perfectly fine, so please make sure you have the latest update and everything will be awesome!
