More fails:

- The very day my sim moved in Lucky Palms a time portal appeared on her lawn and I couldn't delete a wall next to it. My house looks ugly :c

- Wanted to put skill things on the garage. Even with the roof above, Martha got sun poisoned. I had to make that cute garage a whole ass room. The glitched wall looks uglier.

- Power went out when I became Mrs. Irwin's mistress and pocketed a rodent critter to gift Cricket as a peace sign. I didn't save. Went back to square two (friends).

- Tried to catch the skew again but got bitten instead. Tried to date Emi again but saw her making out with Richard on the public pool, now turned into a fairy by him. Had to readopt Misty.

- Misty couldn't catch up to the few strays that walked by the neighborhood. Bad ending

- Couldn't take Emi to any festival due to sleep schedule and different routines. No dates.

- Eternally disliked by Cricket. I can't get a friendship to work. Martha is always awkward, inapropriate. I tried making her use the gym thing the Irwins have, tripped and got scolded.

- Couldn't work out at home with the TV for some reason. Had to pour elixirs to last a trip to the gym. Got drained. I was genuinely afraid she'd die. On the same day, halloween happened and my cats got kidnapped by PETA.

I got into the sims after the 100 Days (Modded) Zombie Apocalypse Challenge by Signed Simon on youtube. Watched even more related gameplays and got super hooked in. So I went to get a copy of the game for myself 🏴‍☠️...

I was really itching to play as a vampire lady to date Emi Irwin - a vampire swooning over an unhappy wife is a scenario that was marinating in my head and seeing I could play it out seemed so fun!

It seemed to be fun. Because in practice? IT WAS HELL

Emi Irwin is a Sim from Lucky Palms. The fucking desert. And I'm playing a vampy. Okay. Hardmore already.

My quirky vampire lady came to life. Martha Temer (only brazilians will understand the pun) is a ginger with green eyes. She's childish, a hopeless romantic, a good kisser (vampirism boost okay) and good with kids. It felt like she was perfect for bored, tired Emi Irwin.

Martha had plans, okay? She wanted to have a career and skills to impress Mrs. Irwin, who's frustrated with her unemployed husband. So she went to study alchemy - alchemy was stuck in my head for some reason. I know this career choice makes no fucking sense - I've befriended Emi when I saw her running on the road during the rain (my poor sim was soaked, thirsty and tired but flirting comes first). And her husband casually passed by with fairy wings after the moon thing. Which was motivating to work harder! While he was jumping over the fence, I was on the grind!

It was hard to stick to a sleep schedule and socialize Martha. I had to look up where the Irwins live too lmao. My Sim thought all was well: she was improving on alchemy, handiness and even set her toiletries to auto-clean. She felt like she'd be so useful for Mrs. Irwin. Now it was time to invest in herself - adopt a cat to help dig things (I really thought cats brought treasure home) it's hard being an alchemist vampire by myself!!

The issue is that I soon realized Martha wouldn't be able to make a career out of alchemy. Gathering stuff at night was hell for me. And cats couldn't bring things. Martha HAS to work, I panicked, and had to choose between opening a daycare (work indoors) or becoming a thug (night shift) - so Martha became a thug. Martha Temer is a stereotype. Misty, the poor cat, helped her have fun after the stressful work, but their sleep schedules got fucked up too and it was hard to meet.

- I am fussy over sleeping fully instead of taking short naps, so this is why Misty and Martha's relationship deteriorated. I'm autistic okay!! Let me have routines!!

But Martha got heartbroken (or at least I got) when she saw Emi and Richard as fairies, making out and being lovey dovey by the public pool. That's when I realized this whole gameplay was pathetic and doomed to fail.

Just when I was trying to replan because Martha wasn't giving up - and I obviously went to the Irwin household to bully Richard but got kicked out before making him my enemy - I realized Misty's socializing need was awfully low. I tried finding cats and people other than my sim for days but Lucky Palms really is a fucking desert. I called the shelter to bring Misty a friend, Titi, and just when I sent Martha to a halloween party and Misty to greet Titi for the first time, PETA kidnapped both my cats for negligence. I rage quit.

I'll have to abandon this save and try this again later. And plan it more carefully...

I adore Martha and really want her to get married to Emi and raise Cricket. Maybe I'll have to add mods to freeze everyone's age to fulfill this goal...

Maybe on my next playthrough I'll have Martha become a scientist. Would it be more beneficial to make her move in Irwin's household like a roommate to interact with the family first? Tend an underground garden and fish at the public pool?

I mean, Mad Scientist x Empress of Evil sounds like a power couple...
