While watching Uprising I was weirdly attracted to Genshin ( the Japanese General) and thought he looked familiar.
Joke’s on me, he was in The Glory and played my favourite character and I may or may not have had a crush on him too lol

If we’re gonna judge on passport, the ISU should do well to remember which nation is keeping Figure Skating alive and has done so for the past 12 years.
Who sent 9 different skaters in the women’s discipline during the grand prix of which 8 medaled and five qualified to the final? Who sent seven men of which five medaled? What’s the nationality of the top pair who filled the void left by the Russians and the retirement of Sui/Han?
I can asure you it wasn’t the US nor Korea (who just sold their soul by letting her compete)
The USA has finally found their top skaters and are becoming more consistent overall but it’s Japan who continues to draw more people in due to their quality and depth in talent, yet for some reason they continue being scored as if they’re average and the US gets a pass
If the Japanese make a mistake (specially at 4cc or WC) they are severely punished in components and their rivals get more leniency on tech calls + the expected boost on PCS due to politicking. How is that fair?

Maybe it’s the Mexican in me that is so conditioned to root against the USA but the scoring at 4CC was attrocious.
You mean to tell me Bradie Tenell is five points better than Rino in SS, Interpretation and Composition?? That Sarah is three points better than Rino and basically at the same level as The Wakaba Higuchi??
Or for crying out loud that Chaeyeon (bless her heart) is NINE points better than Rino in PCS???? What are we trying to do here? Are we sending a message to humble the Japanese Fed or what?
I want fair scoring.
