Wilder Schmetterling

Da ist ein Band zwischen uns, seitdem wir uns das erste Mal gesehen haben. Ich spüre es zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit. Zunächst war es nur ein Hauch. Untergehend in der Masse an Reizen, denen wir zu jedem Zeitpunkt ausgesetzt sind.

Doch es wurde stärker. Ein seidener Faden, am dessen Ende ein Schmetterling hing und zappelte. Der Schmetterling wollte zu dir. Immer nur zu dir.

Und je länger ich das Band zu dir verleugnete, desto stärker wurde es. Es zerrte an mir, wollte mich zu dir ziehen. Immer nur zu dir.

Als wir uns aus den Augen verloren, verlor der Schmetterling seine Orientierung. Ohne dich wusste er nicht wohin er fliegen sollte. Also suchte er nach dir. Immer nur nach dir.

Manchmal vergesse ich, dass ich an dich gekettet bin. Doch dann erinnert sich etwas in mir an dich und das Band reißt meine Seele zurück zu dir. Immer nur zu dir.

Sometimes

Sometimes I wish for a prince. A prince who is handsome and strong. Someone who has a purpose in life and works hard to fulfil his destiny. Someone who is nice and loyal and will love me deeply. A prince who will fight the dragon for me.

Sometimes I wish for a princess. A princess who is pretty and sweet. Someone who dances under the sun at day and reads poems under the candlelight at night. Someone who believes in the power of friendship and dreams about the true love. A princess who will sacrifice herself to the dragon for me.

Sometimes I wish for a king. A king who is powerful and wise. Someone who is in control and always knows what to do. Someone who will give me his trust along with his love. A king who will lead his army against the dragon for me.

Sometimes I wish for a Queen. A queen who is beautiful and proud. Someone who has been hurt and learned to stand up for herself. Someone who understands my pain and dries my tears. A queen who would tame the dragon for me.

Sometimes I want to forget that I'm the dragon everyone fears.
