I’m putting it out there… I think Alastor is the Axeman of New Orleans…
The Axeman, notorious serial killer in New Orleans around the 20s (just before but very close to), who was never caught. Absolutely loved music and jazz - was threatening active murder if people didn’t “jazz it” when he was in town.
We already know Alastor was a serial killer and he got taken out when trying to hide a body. We see New Orleans elements in his room (the bayou/swamp) and the bar styling in the lobby, and we know he was based around there at one point or another. He loves music and particularly jazz (at least from what we see of his music styling), and is obviously from the 20s era of things from his styling, perhaps just a little bit before because of his silhouettes and what not.
I personally think things are overlapping a little bit too much to be coincidence……….
