Starker - Baby Fever

Someone requested mpreg Peter and while alpha Tony is totally on board with that, @omegapeter isn't quite ready for pups yet. (This post is a mix of contributions from alpha-tony-for-omegapeter and omegapeter 😋)

The first time Tony mentions pups to Peter, the poor omega had something like a panic attack. Tony spent many hours after reassuring his omega that they'd only have pups when Peter was ready for them. This, however, hasn't stopped Tony from getting infected by Baby Fever so there are… some things the alpha can't help but doing.

Peter is well aware that his alpha has baby fever and is very grateful that there's no pressure on him to give Tony those pups just yet. Instead, Peter lets Tony indulge in his baby fever with a fond, sometimes exasperated, smile.

So here's some things that have happened as a result of Tony's baby fever:

Peter keeps seeing baby articles left open on the computer or something. He'll roll his eyes and pretend to not have seen it because he knows Tony is like having baby fever. Doesn't bring it up because Tony hasn't tried once to pressure him about it.

The only time Peter mentions anything is when Tony buys a dinosaur onesie and it's blue. The conversation goes as follows:

Peter:  You don't even know if it'll be a boy or girl. At least buy gender neutral.

Tony: (desperate to keep the dinosaur onesie) Girls are allowed to like dinosaurs.

Peter : ...True. Okay it can stay. (It's adorable anyway)

Tony has built a secret lab in his lab that no one has access to except him. In this super secret lab, he's building nanny bots.

The room has so much security in it. It's a secret room because he doesn't want Peter to feel pressured but he has to build something for their future kid.

Peter knows about it since day one which led to this scene:

Steve comes over, "Where's Tony?"

Peter, sitting on the couch reading, " secretly building nanny bots in his lab."

Steve: “Oh, so you're plann-"

Peter: "Nope. Not another word."

Somehow word spread throughout the Avengers that Tony/Peter were expecting a baby Stark:

Bruce: “Hey, I just want to cong–”

Peter: “No.”

Eventually Peter/Tony had to make an announcement because the rest of the Avengers were excited about baby Starks

Tony, sadly: "Sorry guys, there's not gonna be a Stark baby."

Everyone: "Aw, Tony..."

Peter, from another room: "SHUT UP!"

Tony mouths not yet.

Eventually, Tony asks Peter out of curiosity.

Tony: "How long do I have to wait?"

Peter: "Until I say that I'm open for business.

Peter has a picture prepared for when anyone asks about future baby Starks.

The dirty talk reaches a whole other level though. Tony is constantly whispering in Peter's ear about how he's gonna knock him up. And in the heat of the moment, Peter begs for it, wants it desperately.

Afterward though, while they're lying in bed, Peter just looks at him, trying to decide if he should clarify. Tony's just basking in the afterglow.

Tony, feels Peter's eyes on him: “I know.”

Peter: "You were hot though!"

Tony: “Thanks?”

Tony pretty much spends time making the nanny bots, figuring out the best things for a nursery (or building them if he feels the current available items aren't good enough), and picking out plenty of cute baby clothes.

When he's with Peter though, it's easy to forget about the baby fever. His omega is (sometimes) a handful as it is and when he thinks about it, he's grateful to have this time where he can selfishly hoard Peter's love and attention.

Tony doesn't mind waiting, not at all, because he loves Peter. The alpha only wants a baby Stark if Peter is the one that gives them to him.

Starker - Ways to Court an Omega

Tony loves to spoil his @omegapeter with extravagant gifts and outings. He knows he could be a little much sometimes. There’s no denying the embarrassed little flush Peter gets whenever he does. (He also recognizes the pleased little smile when the omega does accept, however.)

So Tony had made an effort to find other ways to let his omega know just how much he cares about him. He even made a list as his own personal reminder.

Ways to Court An Omega:

1. Personally cook something nice and yummy for your omega!

Now, Tony is a disaster in the kitchen. He sometimes forgets to eat, himself, so this idea seems to be the worst idea possible to implement. But then he realizes that if he doesn't even try, he’s just making an excuse for why he won't do it.

So Tony tries. He has FRIDAY look up all these possible dishes and settles on something that was both cute and simple. With FRIDAY’s help and reminders, Tony makes the most appealing looking pancake. He cuts it into a heart shape and does the same with a thick slice of butter.

The mini cupcakes almost ends up burning, but luckily, Tony pulls them out in time. They actually end up pretty decent, the edges a little crisp but in no way burned. A few raspberries and a donut (that he bought because two victories was already pushing his luck) and he was set. Maybe cheesey. It's arranged  in a way that it spells L O V E on the dish but Tony is damn proud of it.

He brings the tray to the bedroom where there's an adorable little ball snoring away beneath his covers, still sleeping.

Peter’s shocked but happy expression is worth more than the thousands Tony would spend for nice meal.

2. Show your omega you care

Some days, Peter can't meet him for dinner or spend the weekend with him. His omega is a hard working, studious college student. He does homework for God's sake. (Tony finds this amazing because he never did homework, just breezed through MIT by reading the notes and texts). The kid studies and claims that Tony’s a distraction so he actually enforces rules like how if he has a major test or project, he’ll stay in his own room at his aunt's until he feels prepared for said project or tests.

First rule in this, respect your omega’s need for time away from you and support their amazing ambition and brilliant mind.

How to show your omega you care when they need time apart? Tony likes to text a simple message, but not obsessively. He also likes to drop by with some treats, sometimes just flowers or chocolate. He stays long long enough to see him blush and smile, then he leaves Peter with a peck on the cheek.

His omega is (un)surprisingly motivated to do well.

3. Take them out somewhere they’d wanna go, not just where you wanna go.

Tony loves to shown Peter off. Anytime they go out for a nice dinner in the city, the paparazzi always has new material for the crowd. They look gorgeous together, dressed up in beautiful form fitting suits. Not showing Peter off would be a crime.

But Peter wasn't brought up in a life like Tony’s. So sometimes, Tony could tell his omega gets a little tired of flashing lights or just wants a dinner where it's just the two of them. It's easy to just have something sent to the Tower, but Tony wants to romance the kid sometimes and he wants to do it somewhere other than his dining room.

So Tony plans these little getaways, arranges dinner where they can relax. He drives them to Long Island, to a dinner table set with romantic candles and a view of the ocean. Or he’ll take them to a good but obscure restaurant that overlooks the Hudson River a little ways away from the city. It's nice and quiet but sometimes that's what they need. The glitz of the city can wait for them.

4. Pamper your omega!

Forget taking them to a spa, sometimes Tony just fills up the humongous tub and pretty much makes it look like a scene right out of a movies. The entire top is filled with rose petals and he had wine set aside. The tub overlooks the city and the lights look beautiful at night.

Tony likes to do this when Peter has had a stressful day. They both just relax in the warm water, drinking and letting the other’s company soothe any frustrations that have built up.

And sometimes, because they get so relaxed, it's not unusual that they start to kiss and more goes on than what Tony originally intends. He has no complaints though.

Tony is adding more and more to his list, but the thought of it becoming lengthy is never something that bothers him. Peter deserves an attentive and loving alpha and that's what Tony tries his best to be.
