As of this afternoon there are more disturbing anon fics being posted with "Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings," in both the buck/tommy and buck/eddie tags with minimal warnings about the content.

I also have heard at least one instance of content being sent directly to someone's tumblr inbox. It might not be a bad idea to close your inboxes to anon submissions.

Just wanted to keep everyone informed so we can keep each other safe. Please don't go looking for this fics to comment about how disgusting they are--the person writing them knows this and wants the attention/engagement. Don't give it to them.

If you see a fic marked "Explicit" or "Not Rated" by an anonymous author tagged with "Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings," you can be pretty certain this is bait and avoid clicking on it. The reason the author is using these particular tags is that it very technically skates by violating ao3's terms of service, so it makes it difficult to report these fics and get them removed.

buck realizes he’s in love with eddie and immediately starts overcorrecting for it. one of the other school parents assumes they’re married and buck coughs and slaps eddie on the back and goes, “married? to this guy??? nah, we’re just best buds!” they go to disney with chris for a day and buck is taking a photo of eddie and chris in front of the castle and someone offers to get a picture of “your whole family together” and buck goes “well haha i’m just the best friend really! but sure!” it gets to the point where he’s offering up to random delivery drivers “let me go see if eddie has any cash for a tip—he’s not my husband btw” and eventually eddie can’t handle it anymore. “is the idea of it really so awful?” he says to buck after incident #3947494. and buck says huh? and eddie says “being married to me. would it really be so awful?” and buck. doesn’t know how to answer.

i feel so powerless to stop what's happening. i did the right thing. i voted for harris. and what did it amount to? it's not like my state matters in national politics

You did what you could, and you can continue to do what you can. Donate to organizations in need, pressure your elected officials, continue to speak up and show you don't approve. Part of the point is to make people feel powerless so they don't try to oppose what's happening.
