I've spent today trading back and forth with my partner on a 17 hour trip from MO to NJ—on sunday, I'll catch a plane home by myself. They applied to and received a promotion at their workplace with a new store opening in the area. This is a permanent move that they are making that I am not able to, right now. The hope is that in a year or so I will be able to join them, but there's a lot of things that can happen in twelve months, and it may not work out that way. I'm dealing with my emotions mostly by myself and trying to stay excited for them and proud of them—to mixed results. It's been a challenging month.

But they have decided that the theme song of this move is 'Meet Me on the Equinox' by Death Cab for Cutie, for whatever reason. And it's a good song! It's moving! But it's also off of the fucking???? New Moon soundtrack???? so everytime it comes on and I start to get upset and sad I just look over and THESE motherfuckers are sat on the display screen, like
