KAPPA DONNIE!!! The lore for this AU is like a Donnie separated AU except if it was the movie Tangled (and if Rapunzel was transformed into a kappa yokai to disguise him from his family). I love him dearly.

 Raphael swallowed and lowered his gaze to see Troll snort at him.   He was better at controlling his strength now, sure, but could he subdue an opponent like this without causing some serious damage? Troll wasn’t the type to give up easily. It’s why he held onto his high rank for so long.   He tugged again at the cuff around his neck, but of course it didn’t budge. Could he break it if he tried hard enough?   And then what? Run? He’d be chased. Big Mama could capture him again and just put him back here. Or worse, she’d punish one of his family members for it.   Tears burned in his eyes again.  He didn’t want to do this.

I'm finally done! This took way longer than I wanted it to for such a simple color palette, but I'm happy with the turnout, although I couldn't decide which version to go with, so you all get both! d( > _・ )

Reference was loosely used but only really for the shapes of the bg and not for the character poses or anything.

Here's the last eye edit I've done. I got the footage by recording my computer screen using my phone's camera. Despite the dubious footage quality, this one is definitely still my favorite.

In case anyone’s curious, all the eyes are “hand-drawn” in my photo editing software. Except for the ones I can cheat with by copying and pasting and making minor adjustments.

Aww, thank you! I’m really happy to hear that! Especially about the characterization but because I feel like I struggle with that one.

My ability to write has abandoned me and I don’t know when it’ll come back, but I definitely do want to write more fics for BWMW! Someday. In the future. At some point in my life. I can’t promise when it’ll happen unfortunately.

About Carol, considering how well April deals with weird and unusual stuff, I imagine Carol is gonna be pretty tolerant about that sorta stuff as well. "My daughter bringing home a random girl I've never heard about and asking if she can move in with us? Yeah sure why not!" Mind you, Carol can kinda tell that April and Casey aren't exactly besties, but she figures that if April would go out of her way to try to help someone she doesn't really get along with then she probably has good reasons for it. Also Casey maybe possibly having grown up in a cult really worries Carol so yeah, she's just going along with this entire thing without asking too many questions lmao.
