sorry if i'm gonna be quiet for a while. my country recently introduced laws that make it so that in order to use social media to the fullest (not being able to view ns/fw content and in a few cases, not even having access to dms), i HAVE to give the sites my id/face scan.

Fireball Theory: The Tragedy of Gedächtnis

THEORY UNDER THE READ MORE BUT HERE'S ONE NOTE: For this theory, Ariadne and Drossel are different people. Assuming they're not already.

In Fireball Gebäude Bäude, Gedächtnis was originally Gebäude-Bäude and his original lady was Lady Ariadne, a shut-in. He wants to introduce Ariadne to the outside world and one day, he eventually succeeds. He shows Ariadne the aurora lights. However, the war between robots and humans rings out and Ariadne is killed in the war, deeply traumatizing Gebäude-Bäude and blaming himself for Ariadne's death, hallucinating in his memories of Ariadne until his final memories with her trigger him to snap back to reality.

In Fireball Humorous, Gebäude-Bäude meets Lord Windstille von Flügel and his newly-built daughter, Drossel. He accepts being their servant and the newly-built girl calls him Gedächtnis. Gebäude-Bäude accepts that as his new name. Windstille is killed during the war as well and Gedächtnis is dead-set on protecting Drossel after making a promise with Windstille to always be by Drossel's side.

In Fireball Charming, Gedächtnis is set to make Drossel a proper lady because he believes that's what Windstille would have wanted and keeps her in the mansion no matter what because he fears for her safety. He believes when Windstille told him about "Charming", a humanity devoid of warfare he had wrote about in one of the many books he had wrote. However, when Drossel reveals the name as "Warning", Gedächtnis' hopes of an end to the war are dashed away and he's left depressed, knowing there is no end. He allows Drossel to sleep and forget everything, not wanting her to drown in grief and despair like he is.

In the original Fireball, Gedächtnis instead focuses on reteaching the spoiled, memory-wiped Drossel. When the humans finally attack Tempest Tower, Gedächtnis finds the strength to fight back and protect Drossel, refusing to let tragedy and despair consume him once again and protects Drossel with his life, determined to end the war one way or another.

a thing that happened during my playthrough of etrian odyssey v

story: Dib (the new guy and also the Rover of the team) was running low on SP and i found out i couldn't get a thread (which you know...VERY IMPORTANT STUFF BECAUSE IT LETS ME LEAVE THE LABYRINTH WITHOUT BACKTRACKING TO THE START) because my inventory was full. There were so MANY eggs. And i found out Eggs only heal a tiiiiny bit of SP. What i did was essentially feed a bowl of eggs to Dib until his SP was full and i finally had some fucking space in the inventory. (i know it's TP actually but SHHHH I FORGOT THAT AT THE TIME OF MAKING IT ALSO I MADE THIS A LONG TIME AGO I'M UPLOADING IT NOW)
